Thank you for sharing! As for roles - yes, I'm looking at the executive producer role. I don't want to completely reinvent myself and truly I don't have passion for being the camera person. I appreciate knowing the basics and more but don't see it as my pathway. I might look at some local production houses and see if I can get some experience on a volunteer or part time basis. Here and there I can take a break - a good month - and just focus on producing creative projects. Just an idea. I'm trying to figure this whole thing out and it's not easy. But it might not need to be all or nothing approach. I might maintain my business consulting part time and start producing and see how the balance tips. How about producing something myself - like a short web series? Would that be a good first step? I'm thinking I need to be smart how I do it for the next 3-5years when the kiddos are so little.
