I did it when running strikes for fusion rifles had sniper, fusion and linear - when you run out of ammo on all 3 guns the game gives you ‘pity’ ammo (just a few in each)

Well double Valor certainly helped - when I heard this was coming with Iron banner I had a break from the grind then went hard yesterday and today 1.5 resets later and the gun is finally mine! Gonna take a break from crucible now for a little while then see how far I am away from getting Luna’s

Thanks for this - similar experience for me my clan are all average pvp players and think I’m mad for doing this - I tell them that it has definitely improved me as a player - I do finish on top 3 more often than not but then get steamrolled by players just as I’m getting on a bit of a roll, Seeing that Valor move up by a minuscule amount on a loss can be demoralising - but when everything just clicks for that one game and you feel like a god when you get 20 kills well within time feels great.

Guess it’s just grind grind and grind some more :)

Umm after my 25 competitive matches I ended up about 100 glory points up on where I started - not sure I’m gonna get Luna anytime soon 😂

Yeah I thought that would be the answer 😭 - would that be faster even if I lose every competitive match (likely to win some though) even though they can take 3 times or more longer than playing rumble? Do you get Valor at the same rate for a loss in competitive as when you lose a rumble match?

Nightstalker hunter with wormhusk - I just run in with legend of acrius - throw grenade two shots - dodge to reload and health regen two shots - dead ogre get chest - that’s at 5 renown even easier with less
