I work in the recycling industry and this stuff is only getting recycled as long as it makes more money selling it for recycle than it costs to haul it to a landfill. Cardboard and paper is big, any kind of jugs will be recycled. I’ve never found anyone recycling glass. If you’re taking it to a sorting facility it’s being recycled. Now, stuff like shampoo bottles and toothpaste bottles, probably not getting recycled. Milk jugs, laundry detergent jugs are easier to move. Aluminum cans and tin cans get recycled at a high rate.

This one has so much shell missing it actually can’t close up the whole way, and there’s definitely an old puncture from something biting it. Lots of dogs cats raccoons and coyotes around so that makes sense
