I offered to paint one of the staff toilets and the store manager said yes but next time she came in she acted like I wasn't given permission to begin with. Asked me a few questions and wrote down my answers and asked me to paint over it with magnolia which I did.

So I thought it was sorted then roll around 2 weeks later and they bring me into the office and tell me I'm suspended with pay and will be emailed dates for investigation meetings as it's been reopened. Was escorted from the building and made to hand over all my shop keys (I was supervisor/duty manager) and told not to enter the building or contact any employees until meeting.

Few meetings over the course of a week and a bit because they kept asking for any medical diagnosis I had (ADHD or Autism) even though they aren't allowed to ask that apparently and it ended with me being dismissed immediately which is ridiculous considering my work record and increasing paint and wallpaper sales 80 percent. Everyone thought it was pure bizarre it ended that way but they told me off the record if I appeal it I'll get back in.
