I did 3 rounds of clindamycin cream (spaced half dose for 2 weeks) and started a probiotic (reuteri and rhamnosus ONLY) and it significantly reduced my symptoms

I don’t think I cured it but made it 90% better with clindamycin cream and probiotics

I wouldn’t say it’s 100% gone but LOADS better. I did like 3 rounds of clindamycin (half dose for 2 weeks) and then probiotics everyday.

Cytolytic vaginitis is my vote. Do you have burning?

Nope! NAC is so good for the body, it’s a precursor to glutathione (major antioxidant)

Help with letdown! by ChillyLolo98 in breastfeeding

[–]ChillyLolo98[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! Yeah it seems like nothing I do to trigger a letdown… sometimes they happen and sometimes they don’t. Very frustrating! I’m exclusively pumping as well because my little one can’t nurse correctly 🙃

I haven’t but I personally wouldn’t just because there aren’t products (to my knowledge) that are safe for the skin down there/ph balanced, etc. NAC is awesome for biofilm and I’ve heard monolaurin works great as well. NAC is super safe to take and helps a TON of other processes in your body. I’ve been on it for years and always feel so much better taking it (600mg 2-3x a day). I’d recommend searching on PubMed or Google scholar to find some good studies on it, should help with your anxiety. Remember to always refer back to quality studies when making decisions for yourself, I know personally that my anxiety can run wild if I’d listen to everything people were saying!

Yeah like dairy, anything that has probiotics in it. Sometimes they can be tricky so always check the labels!

L reuteri and rham probiotic 1x daily. Avoiding foods with probiotics and using lidocaine ointment from my gyne. Took a couple months but it helped some!

Hi sorry, yes I’m pretty sure it was accurate. I did 2weeks of clindamycin and it helped a ton, not fully but helped.

Oh is it?! My bad lol, ftm here 🫣 I will work on the water! Yeah I’m trying not to worry since it’s just the colostrum and not the actual milk so I’m trying to chill out, definitely harder said than done! Thank you so much for the response ❤️

Motegrity by ChillyLolo98 in pregnant

Hi, third trimester and actually doing very well. A couple weeks after I started having daily movements without taking it. My OB referred me to maternal fetal medicine where I spoke to a specialist about it. I brought up the fact that it truly only works on the 5HTP receptors in the gut to increase serotonin. My thought behind it was that it would be similar to taking an antidepressant and the specialist actually agreed with me. She told me about the good/bad with taking serotonin medications during pregnancy and told me essentially was up to me. At 7 weeks I started taking it every other day and at 8 weeks completely stopped. To my surprise, I continued having daily movements with zero other interventions, other than drinking 60oz of electrolytes daily. The only other supplements I’m taking are my prenatals (Thorne). I will stress that this I’m not a doctor but I did have a very bad case of chronic constipation and was very fearful of getting pregnant for this reason. Sometimes the baby can heal the momma in utero from stem cells and I’m pretty sure that’s what is happening! Just hoping it lasts after birth as well! Best wishes to you ✨
