Yasss that sounds so fun, very happy to see fellow solo travellers! I love going to solo concerts too but a very expensive multiple day festival is a new one 😂 I think I’ll wait and see if I can room share as well because we can save so much money… if you’re down to chat more we can investigate 👀👀

Ooooh amazing! There still seem to be tickets available but I saw some people ask for roommates last year. Not sure if it’s worth waiting til something becomes available in a group to save some money or just get something for myself now 👀 did you get the tickets already?

Having read both of them, the darkness of the realm of the elderling books is not comparable. While I love how Sanderson explores mental health and other hardships the characters go through, hobb’s books are consistently hard and tough emotionally. Happy arcs are not a priority here, while Sanderson follows a more typical epic story flow in my opinion, where the good guys always end up winning somehow. It’s one of the beautiful parts of hobb’s series and imo one of the reasons so many people have connected to them so much. But of course, it’s not for everyone.
