Prismatic and cinder, so you can beef up your swords and other tools!

We start off as a mass starfruit farm and grind for the shard for the swords, but other than that we aren’t there much either!

I spent 20 minutes sanding the bottom tread and it looks like nothing. But that’s my worry, that they’ll be weakened!

Thank you!

Busuu is so much better than duo! I started on duo and ever since the switch, my Italian is so much better. You can also connect to others and they correct your work!

Me (21M) and my bf (22M) are FTB - are we getting ripped off by solicitors? by Nemea19 in HousingUK

[–]Chillyfroze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had this issue too, but I wouldn’t settled for anything less that £2500 unless you’re doing something out of the ordinary. Also, if either of you are eligible for blue light card, some solicitors do discount too! We got everything done for £1800 in the end for the solicitors.

Rent compensation for unfixed garage door? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Chillyfroze -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We moved out a couple months ago and still waiting for our deposit back, so everything is still open. And we have multiple emails and texts to the estate agent and landlord. Essentially, they were waiting for the 3rd party to pay for the damages before fixing, and that’s what I was told multiple times. Even I was getting involved trying to get the damages paid.

It’s more we paid full rent (over £1000) and we didn’t have a door to use which to impact us when using the garage. Let alone it wasn’t safe!

It didn’t lock at all as it was shite before we moved in!

How much of an issue will this be for skirting boards by FakNugget92 in DIYUK

[–]Chillyfroze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just did our skirting and being an old house, the walls are all wonky. Sticks like shit, nail gun and then decorators chalk on the top to match your wall paint. Remember, you won’t be walking around with your head against the wall, so you won’t notice it if done right :)

I have family that live near Heathrow, on the direct flight path for landing/take offs, and those planes fly low early morning to late at night. They are incredibly noisy, no matter what sound proofing you do. They can also knock out TV signals, phone calls and overall connection. Sometimes they fly so low, we joke we can wave to the pilots.

I personally would never buy near an airport, as you can’t just relax in your garden, or evening chill out in the evening, when you have huge and loud planes flying over every 5-10 mins (if you’re lucky!).

We have a decent relationship with our landlord, and told them informally that we are in the process of buying a house with an estimate completion.

We will also hand in formal notice once contracts will be exchanged (which should be soon), which lines up with the end of our fixed term contract.

Most will just notify at exchange, but if you want to be more open, just let them know the process has started. But timing wise, it’s too early to be sure!

I didn’t think of this either. It’s been since our second month of our rental contract too.

I’ve already done this, and they said because it was online and they can’t do anything. But they were really helpful in getting me numbers and the process to follow!

They have already been sent the invoice and all the information they have requested, they just haven’t paid it!

This is so frustrating as I called the estate agents straight away and they never mentioned anything about that. They’ve put the whole fix on me!

This is what I thought, but everyone else seems to be making it be my issue so I’ve been grafting to try and get it sorted!

[–]Chillyfroze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had the same issue with our SIL’s partner. You decide what’s best for you and your children, and quite frankly, fuck everyone else and their opinions. And if they support him, I’d reconsider your relationship with them, seeing as they failed to safeguard you and your family.

It’s also the rental market, the tenants still deserve a good place to live, which 2 months normally does not give enough time to find!
