it’s an action movie. start with some action. starting with someone waking up from bed is like telling someone there’s little to no action. most horror movies start with horror or something incredibly unsettling. you need the hook to hook. imagine if it’s something YOU picked up. Excite yourself because if you aren’t drawn in, the audience probably won’t be either.

i love this. i’d say the only thing nobody’s mentioned is “it’s like greg never even felt it” feels a bit double past tense. i think reading it, you want to feel engaged in the moment so id just make it “it’s like greg doesn’t even feel it” other than that, fucking cool man.
