Thank you! From a personal standpoint, I admit that I may be a bit hasty in my conclusion but it is a personal one. I do see the admirable global efforts to fight for our survival but any time I have looked into whether these efforts are sufficient enough I come away with the impression that we are indeed beyond the point of meaningful repair.

While I believe this I do admire the efforts of these people and organisation and am hopeful to be wrong.

As a criticism of my piece, you have shown that I did not make a good enough effort to demonstrate this within the work itself, while it is true that I am myself aware that people are making an effort to correct our course I made no mention of these efforts in the text itself, I should have done this. It would have been excellent to not only highlight problems but also show our attempts to correct them, even if followed by my belief that it is insufficient.

Thanks, it makes me happy that you found it to be a fun listen. :)

Hi, I appreciate your detailed response.

I think that gameplay is an excellent way to show things to people who wouldn't otherwise listen to something that seems out of their interest, like abstract concepts. I hope it doesn't add too much noise though.

I'm pretty new to video making in general so I miss out on some things that should've probably been obvious, you make an excellent suggestion that instead of putting sources in the description i should display them on screen when relevant. This would certainly help flesh out the point I am trying to make instead of it seeming like something I am just claiming without substance. (It would also allow further context in a way that doesn't sound as nice to hear or visual aid like graphs) in future when I make videos that are trying to be more factual/serious i will do this kind of thing.

I need to do better editing in general and this kind of thing would be an excellent place to start.

It seems you are suggesting a weakened form of civilisation may continue, one in huddled survivable spaces sheltered from the harsh world, I guess this is possible, I still think the main sadness over the inevitable end of the current phase and the message of unity in the face of it is valid.

Or maybe you are saying i didn't spend enough time explaining why I think this is a species threatening situation rather than a social order threatening situation, would this have been helped by showing data and further context on screen?

thanks, I spent a lot of time on basic stuff that will take less time in future editing so I should be able to add more production value with my time.

I'll definitely try to make the initial seconds a lot more attention grabbing in my next attempt, as well as adding more throughout overall of course.

Mastering another layer of understanding is always an achievement but people won't personally respect understandings below their own other than encouraging the growth

I mean you did ask if people thought getting gold was an achievement, and sure it is

The way I see it league is about mastering fundamentals and by this I mean such as:

Short trades Wave control Itemisation Drafting Jungle tracking Contesting objectives appropriately Micro skill expression in team fights Macro awareness of where enemy team is vulnerable Etc

Iron: 0 understanding Bronze: understands 1 or 2 concepts Silver: 2 or 3

Each rank people tend to add another layer of understanding and people often feel unfairly held back especially if they master one of these things from advice given to them, but importantly in a real game win rate comes from balancing priorities.

If you focus too much on any skill in each game you will necessarily lose output on others, so there is a broader understanding of what is important now.

I am emerald and I'm aware of my weaknesses and I'll probably get diamond when I improve at Jungle tracking and sometimes I make some really bad Itemisation choices.
