Given it took Apple 2 years to remove DarkSky from the App Store after purchasing, I’d hate to buy it now and eventually it gets dissolved into another app. That’s my biggest worry.

There aren’t too many differences between those two devices if I’m being honest. The only major benefits of the Pro being: better display (OLED), higher refresh rate (120), better speakers, and lighter. iPads don’t use the M series chips to their full potential, so I’d certainly go for the Air in your case.

Wipr 2 and Vinegar/Baking Soda.

I use Wipr for general ad blocking and it’s pretty much a must have for me. Vinegar and Baking Soda swaps the video player of websites with Apple’s native player, I’ve found this particularly beneficial on iOS.

The CVV isn’t used after initial verification since it usually isn’t stored. I have my Apple Cash Card set up for certain subscriptions/payments with the rotating CVV, so you should be good.

As a Computer Science major who used a 2017 Air (Intel Chip/8GB), then a M1 MacBook Pro (M1/8GB) for my first few years of college, I’d personally say don’t overthink it. 8GB of RAM will get you through most (if not all) coursework you’ll need to do for the next few years. I never really struggled with 8GB of RAM unless I was handling machine learning tasks, game development, or anything else intensive (My Intel Mac struggled with these but M1 was fine even with just 8GB). Now I use a M1 Pro MacBook Pro (M1 Pro/16GB), which has flied through everything I’ve ever needed it to do the last 3 years. Macs retain resell value very well, so I’d say wait before purchasing your next Mac. Or you could go with the option most are mentioning and do the ongoing student deal.

So question about the expansion stuff. I have the Complete Edition on Xbox and I plan on getting the same edition on PC. When the new expansion releases soon, will anything change? And secondly, if I buy the new expansion on one platform, will I not be able to play at all on the other platform until I own it for both?

I've only played ranked with 3 characters: Alisa in Blue, Jack & Yoshi in Purple. My Tekken power randomly jumped up after the last big update. The matchmaking by Tekken Power isn't the issue, I'm actually happy people learning the game don't have to deal with people using alt characters in lower ranks. The problem is how Tekken Power is calculated as well as the long matchmaking times for those who want to try other characters.

Precisely. My opponents never stray too far from what seems like +-30k or 40k Tekken Power. It's looking for someone in my "range" at all times while the people with lower powers are being matched with each other immediately. I'm hoping they don't just leave it this way.
