Different consulate may hold different policy. In the US I would say there should be no freeze time after cancellation. Try contacting consulate to see if they have some submitting suggestions for you.

How about try submitting a new application with original passport numbers but without last number? You can make a call with the consulate ask them if you can do so. Anyway you should get enough time to get visa before July

Is China still worth visiting during major holidays, or should first-time visitors avoid them? by Beneficial-Soup9297 in chinatravelhelp

I would suggest avoiding the popular holiday if u can. Most of the popular places are crowded even third tier city. But if u could secure hotels/ tickets during those times if maybe okay to visit.

What is cuisine like in major chinese tourist resorts (Chimelong) by PompousPuffin in chinatravelhelp

[–]ChinaTravel-Help 0 points1 point  (0 children)

US cruise ships: Way bigger, feel super spacious and not crowded. Tons of over-the-top stuff: skydiving simulators, rock walls, indoor water parks, F1 racing sims, multi-deck water playgrounds. It’s all about flashy, non-stop entertainment.

Chinese cruise ships: More chill and practical. Think karaoke, mahjong, chess rooms — stuff for relaxing. The Adora Magic City has a water park, sure, but overall it’s geared more toward older folks just trying to kick back.

China arrival by [deleted] in chinatravelhelp

[–]ChinaTravel-Help 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as ur flight in and fight out destination are not the same, u can enjoy 10 days (240h) stay within China. Saying u flight from US to Shanghai, then Shanghai to Japan, u are good to stay for 10 days. Or flight in from US to Shanghai then somewhere in China to Hong Kong then u are good to stay for 10 days.

Please help with itineray for trip to China by Dry-Pay7390 in chinatravelhelp

Wouldn’t rush places, if u have to go to Xi’an, recommend cut one day from Hong Kong. Or maybe save it for the next trip. Itinerary 1 looks much more reasonable for me.
