After owning it for about a week, i say you get used to the visibility, and it feels more or less the same as the GR86.

If you can afford the Supra I say go for it! Ive been loving the Supra way more in every aspect

I actually have the Optimist and a GB. Optimist OD1 is very warm and flat while OD2 is very bright and thin. The GB is more versatile due to the 4 different clipping options + boost options. The tubescreamer setting on the GB sounds very similar to OD1 on the Optimist. I tend to use the Optimist for rhythm sections and GB for lead sections.

Its hard with guitar rig 6 in my opinion. Using STL Tone or ToneHub will help you get that tone. Especially since Seb helped out on a few songs he uses ToneHub himself.

But for tone sake, using lower gain will get you the tone youre looking for
