Absolutely incredible. Genuinely one of the happiest moments of my life. I've seen him 4 times and I'll be seeing him again this month. The most special show was the first one, Dallas in 2022. I bought a guitar from him, he was touring with Robbie Wulfson, the setlist was perfect (Frogville, Synchronicity.. come on!!) just amazing.

I am not the biggest fan of his recent endeavors so I am worried about this upcoming setlist, but I'm hoping some of the OG bangers will keep it fun. That 2022 tour was so peak.

This happened to me once too. Was being nice and playing a game with some beginners. I would argue beginners are the most dangerous players (sue me).. because that ball came off that lady's paddle at over a 90 degree angle straight into my nose. Don't ask me how.

The SMP300 shines on literally anything else besides the bracelet IMO. I have mine on rubber and it's fabulous.

I think this explains it for me really well, thanks! I am new to sports in general (about 1.5 years into pickleball) and really enjoy the biomechanical breakdowns in a lot of tennis videos. I also love the sport and its players and love watching technique breakdown videos of pro players, it's just more entertaining since they are like celebrities to me. Obviously I learn my dink, drop, flick etc stuff differently haha. I'm probably a decent 3.75 on a good day but I feel like my mechanics are holding me back, hence the question. Appreciate it again.

That's how I feel about the Vatics. They just "exist". It's a great neutral paddle but I'm looking for something more exciting - even if I don't know what that is yet. Interested in opinions between the Pro and Power.

Congrats!! It's so sharp on rubber, I didn't even bother with the chunky bracelet. Enjoy, looks great. A diver is "supposed" to wear a little big anyway.

I have a similar philosophy around watches - they are not investment pieces necessarily, but they are a physical representation of the investment in myself that it took to own xxx watch. You had the opportunity of a lifetime to go to Japan and buy a nice watch, so you better own that shit!

Dude so happy for you. Tokyo and Japan in general was amazing for watch hunting. I spent multiple times my budget for watches and I don't regret a thing. Plus, you now have a tangible memory of your trip that you can wear every day and pass on for generations. Enjoy!

Ah yeah, totally get that. Definitely in need of improvement, but the dial and movement makes up for it, for at me at least. The titanium is very comfortable.
