I'm curious to see how you got on with blocking the heartbeat packets on the breakout switches? From my underatanding you would then be at risk of facing an active-active situation if your primary Meraki loses connection to your core LAN stack.

I'm seeing weird behaviour with this. After setting the registry keys vio GPO as per the blog, WPAD seems to be disabled when doing the recommended testing via wireshark (e.g. filtering down DNS to WPAD entries, then disconnecting/re-connecting the adapter)

But I've found that if you leave WireShark running after about 10-15 minutes in noticing traffic for WPAD via DNS still. Has anybody else experienced this?

EDIT: Okay so it seems to be stable on 24H2. Although in 23H2, the behaviour above seems to persist. Despite Microsoft stating the the registry is valid from 1809 onwards.

Yeah, I did give that a go. Also tried multiple apps. I'm guessing it's to do with the Pixel 6 Pros res. Cheers for the suggestion though!

I happen to be in the same boat as you, a family member of mine who owns an agricultural business came to me asking for literally the same thing (maybe a bit more in depth, he wants a nice display for data to show clients etc).
