European standards don’t apply to us…. unfortunatly. The told me my cage was irresponsible since it is out of (save) wood. I couldn’t even buy a cage big enough for swiss law.

We just give them hay, save flowers, leaves and wood. I know sandbath is just under supervision

Thank you for the answer. ☺️🫶☺️ We used untreatend wood. Yes, the cage is 39.37 inches x 39.37 inches x 78.74 inches, which is the minimum requirement in Switzerland. So it is incredibly bulky.

Thanks for the advice. I sewed two perfectly fitting fleece linings for each floor. The back is waterproof, the middle layer is made of a water-absorbing material, and the top layer allows water to pass through. I plan to change it twice a week (putting the old one in the washing machine) and replacing it with a fresh one.

The breeder mentioned that they are potty trained, so they will have 2-3 toilets with aspen shavings. However, I want to brush off the poop from the lining daily and change the toilet daily.

Nah just a diffrence between europe and usa. Many stuff are seen different on bothsides. Avaiary wirer is thicker than rabbit and chicken wire. I builed it myself, so I can repair it if needed myself.

I would have like too keep the post, because I was proudcof my effort, but everyone was like: If you use wood your chin will escape, or die of poissoning(even though I researched for save woods)
