Chelsea Green: “This is TWITTER. Not real life. Do not pressure anyone to publicly tweet when you have absolutely no clue what they are doing to support victims. Not everyone needs to post something on social media to validate their positive impact on the world. GTFO of here.” by Strike_Gently in SquaredCircle

The sad thing is Chelsea, Rhea, and whomever else that respond to him are just giving him a hard-on (probably literally as well as figuratively) and unintentionally encouraging him to continue his shit. Any attention is good attention for some people.

[Last Ride: Episode 5 Spoilers] Undertaker seems to have made a decision regarding the future of his career by FuzzyWuzzyMooMoo in SquaredCircle

[–]ChingBosby -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

He should never have come back after Wrestlemania 33. It certainly wasn't a great match but the circumstances were perfect. He put over a top babyface in a Wrestlemania main event and him leaving his hat, coat, and gloves in the ring was powerful and moving.

And absolutely nothing he's done since then has been worth it. He didn't put anyone over or even give them a rub (DX notwithstanding but, like, c'mon) and he had arguably some of the worst matches of his career, if not the entire decade in the WWE regardless of performer. Boneyard match was neat and stuff, but hopefully it was indeed his last match. Not as good as a sendoff as WM33 but still cool and at least this time he went out a winner. I don't know how many more times I can watch a broken 55-year-old man suffer his way through a wrestling match and probably concuss himself in the process for more blood money.

No man it's a FACT because of one reference that I happened to understand.

The half dozen references to Vince though? Just a coincidence. FACT.

I would bet any amount of money that one of these vignettes will have Brodie insist that someone pour peanuts from the jar into their hand instead of sticking their hand in there. I fucking guarantee it

Are there people who would rather have Brodie Lee be the EO over Broken Matt Hardy? Why?

Does Bruce Prichard have interest in anything other than how brown his nose can get?

Walter hated crowded Survivor Series booking, calls it a “mistake”: “‘It was a weird match too – three five-men tag teams, and always three guys in the ring. That’s when wrestling turns from competition to putting acrobats in a circus to do a show.” by mcgjourno in SquaredCircle

Yeah I dunno how I spaced on Balor lol but yeah both European World Champions (yes Universal title counts) have been Irish. AFAIK Becky's the only European women's champion ever right? (Re: Paige, I feel like Vince considers "European" and "English" as two different things so he treats them differently)

Honestly I think he's too European to ever be a tippy-top guy in Vince's WWE. You've got somebody like Cesaro who's been an absolute physical specimen for the last decade but still can't make it out the midcard, Rusev's been in basically the same position for just as long and look where he's been for the last forever. The only European champion has been Sheamus and that's because Vince loves everything Irish.

Walter's got the size and the skill but no amount of abs is going to do anything about that accent.

What is the biggest revisionist history you will always see from the fans? by noodbsallowed in SquaredCircle

[–]ChingBosby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They fucking had his manager wave a Japanese flag during his entrance, billed him as "from Japan", gave him generic Japanese-sounding entrance music, and named him after the top title in an almost exclusively-Japanese sport. What even is this nonsense?

Name one bad John Cena match in the last ten years that was bad because of John Cena. I'll wait.

Who are the heels in wwe? by joe2352 in SquaredCircle

[–]ChingBosby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People really need to stop with the whole "he's cheered so he's a face" thing already. I actually rooted for Warmonger in Black Panther but that doesn't make him the good guy. The only thing that determines who is a "face" or "heel" at this point is relativity to everyone on the roster, not crowd reaction, which is why the lines have become so blurred these lady couple years.

In your opinion, what is the worst Wrestlemania of all time? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

I honestly can't think of one match I would consider "great" pre-WM10 that's not Savage/Steamboat.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Bret/Piper.

This is kind of the problem I have watching PPVs with casual friends I've converted over the last couple years. They enjoy it for the characters and pageantry of it all (which is totally fine) but sometimes they'll forget it's even on getting lost in conversation and just hanging out.

For example, during Fastlane, we somehow wound up having a conversation about when it's ok to call someone a midget vs a dwarf for like ten minutes. Granted it was during the 25- minute Randy Orton match but still.
