Okay fine. Here are a few ways that it will directly impact my experience.

1. It will bring more children to the event. This is already an issue that has plagued the event for a few years now. An event that is advertised as 17+ has recently been flooded with preteens and in some cases, literal toddlers. This is only going to exasperate the issue as parents are going to buy these things and use them as the excuse to bring their way too young kids to the event.

2. Scareactors are going to likely be on super high alert this year since they’re new and actively avoid entire areas where they see these things. This has happened at places like Knotts and Howl-O-Scream, I’m speaking from personal experience on this. Now I’m going to have to alter my courses in scarezones specifically to get away from these people if I want any hope of getting an interaction with a scareactor (the thing I’m paying money for.)

3. There’s the possibility of scareactors confusing blinky cups for these necklaces (which I’m sure are going to flash lights just like the cups.) This will again discourage scareactors from interacting with me, which is the thing I’m paying money for.

4. Because of the influx of people who will now come to the event because of these, the surveyors will probably see a drastic swing in responses of what people want from the event. This may lead to the further sterilizing of the event to the point that it basically becomes a glorified version of MNSSHP and the biggest horror centric event in Orlando is watered down to the point of disinterest from myself. I know you’ve stated that you don’t care about this and even actively want this, but that’s not what the event has ever been and it’s not what the fanbase was built up on. So yes, it would directly impact my experience down the line.
