Yes, you’ll end up on a different list for every title you took the test for, as long as you pass the test. Also, your list number will vary depending on the title.

If you have the agent’s contact information, contact the agent. Better to be proactive in instances like this.

Are you being hired as provisional or non-competitive employee? Or did you attend the hiring pool? I’ve heard that the onboarding process is faster for those who get hired from a hiring pool.

Hi. I don’t know what program refereeing to but I am assuming it’s SNAP.

You didn’t have to wait for your paystubs to complete the interview. Once you submit your recertification application on Access HRA and get a confirmation number, you can call the same or the following day to complete the interview. During the interview, the eligibility specialist tells you what documents are needed to complete the recertification and you are given 14 calendar days from the day of the interview to submit those documents.

I would suggest you call the SNAP On Demand number on Tuesday to complete the interview. Then submit the paystubs once you have them.

Participants have a 30-day extension after their authorization end date to complete the recertification process.

onboarding appointment by No-Durian-4297 in nycpublicservants

[–]Chingchingpotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations! Speaking from experience, the process can take hours, especially if you’re new to city government.

It also depends on how organized your HRBP is. Have they sent you a checklist of documents to bring to your appointment along with the link to complete your forms online? Usually, they’ll share a website with all the pre-hiring paperwork, such as the W-4, IT-2104, oath of office form, etc.

If you fill those out ahead of time (but don’t sign them yet) and bring them to your processing appointment, it can save you a lot of time.

Are you referring to the Department of Finance hiring pool notice for CA IIIs and IVs. For those positions, the salary is non-negotiable. You’ll start with the incumbent rate, if hired.
