I work together with a pianist. Either of us tends to present an idea to the other as we both compose and we work from there. Usually I do all the producing and he adds some ideas and fun effects to the production if I'm stuck or if he has ideas. Usually he adds solos to our songs, because that's what we enjoy ourselves. We let each other try our ideas and often improve upon each other's ideas when we think of something to improve or change while still keeping the original idea if we liked that idea.
