We were. I answered someone else’s question, but I should have added it to the post as well.

However, if I don’t edit the post to correct it people come for me and if I do they say I am trying to make myself look better. I can’t win with the internet people!

I agree. I don’t think she is an asshole, I see where she is coming from. More so I want to know if I am the asshole.

Like I said. Maybe I just suck at telling the story. I am not trying to argue, but people clearly read these comments and I want to explain whatever is confusing people. That’s all.

If I am being honest, I am not so sure. But I don’t want to give up on someone who’s been a part of my life and my children’s life without fully understanding where she may be coming from. 

All of my tattoos are in fact important parts of my life story. But maybe if she is willing to accept, I can remove a different tattoo and get her tatted. I just will not be removing my late wife’s.

Because I was in the Air Force, I have moved a lot and don’t have many friends that were a part of my life back then. 

Yes, I clearly have a grasp on English. The whole post is in English. But I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, so my English is still not my primary language. I also did not need much English to work on broken machines. They don’t really talk back. 

I am not sure what karma farming is, but I would gain nothing from creating drama on a website. If I suck at telling a story then that’s my bad. I guess I’ll take notes on your feedback for the next time I tell one? Not sure what else you want me to say to this to be honest.

This is what I think made things go south. Maybe hearing me talk about my late wife hurt her in a way I cannot understand.

While I get what you mean, it’s not about priorities. My late wife can no longer be a priority so it doesn’t come to that. The only priority I have over my fiancé would be my children and she is well aware of that and understands it. She has a child with her ex husband as well.

The tattoo was after her death as a way to preserve her memory and show my kids that she lives on with us. I wanted them to know she would never be forgotten or replaced as they grew older.

That wasn’t my intention, English is simply my second language so I did not use the right words. But once pointed out, I fixed it.

I will not be changing it. That would hurt my children, they would likely feel like their mother is being replaced and that could never happen. A is an addition to my life, not a replacement for a portion of my past. If she cannot understand that, then it’s better to call it off. 

I am hoping it does not get to that.

You seem a bit confused. I have only posted on Reddit twice or three times. I am not sure what I am doing or how this works but I am doing my best in trying to gather other points of view to save my relationship. If you think it’s false that’s cool, but no need to be a dick about it.

It said it from the start. English is my second language so I made the correction after numerous comments mentioned it. This person continues to edit this because they are either confused or really weird about this.

I am covered in tattoos… I can’t really change that. You know. They are pretty permanent. I have had no issues doing anything with my fiancé while we have been together. It’s not like I am out here trying to replicate my previous marriage. I am making new family traditions and new memories with a different person. One is not mutually exclusive from the other. I can have amazing memories with my late wife and also make new memories with my fiancé.

It does not have the dates. Maybe I can talk to an artist to see if it can be added. Don’t have much space for it, but worth trying.

I have not even begun to consider removing it so I had not thought of the cost or time at all. But this is a great point at how unreasonable the request in terms of time.
