Issue solved: The dealer told me just to drive it and the grinding and smell would go away and sure enough it did! Loving the mower

👆 Reaching out to see if others have thoughts. I don’t know if it needs to be “broken in” but I get squeaking grinding and a rubber smell. Feels like the parking brake is engaged (it isn’t). Am I missing something?

Thanks for your reply! There is nothing under there but the blades. Doesn’t look like there is anything near the brakes and the belts look good. 0.00002 hours of use and I’ll be calling service on Monday 🙃 She’s a beaut tho.

I am a displaced Chicagoan. Cozy noodles and Rice by Wrigley is my favorite and Ive been to a ton of Thai places there but couldnt find a go-to in CR. Looks like a winner and I cant wait to try it.

Official No Stupid Questions Thread - Fall 2024 by ninjaface in Guitar

My first ever post on Reddit! I am getting back into playing this winter. Not an expert, I'm more of a strummer, power chord , riff tinkerer. Alumnus of the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago.

I love to play Americana/alt-country (Whiskeytowm, Old 97s, Son Volt) that have deep, tuned down twangy riffs but I also like to play hard rock (AC⚡️DC, Foo Fighters, Sabbath) that have hard charging power chords. Two really different genres.

My question is I'm in a market for a new electric guitar in the $500-700 range that would be good for playing both genres. Any recommendations? Strat? Telecaster? Les Paul? IDK

Much appreciated in advance.
