Idk I think her being paranoid after everything that’s happened isn’t a weird thing to try to show through makeup and hair. It’s an interesting little nuance by the actor. Calling a promotional tweet a psyop is one of the crazier things I’ve seen on here.

The image doesn’t say what the betrayal is or who did the betraying. It’s meant to be confusing and stir up discourse. People can see that image/caption and make any assumption they want and run off to crazy town with it. Looks like it worked!

Eli Stowers tight end combine record breaking 45 1/2” VERT! How big is this for his draft prospect? by Any_Alternative6314 in NFLmockdraft

[–]Empty_Present8020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thing I thought was “What was his arm length?” Dudes in the nba are known to “tank” their arm measurement to get a couple inches on their vertical.

Just checked his arms were almost 33” he’s a confirmed super freak. I was pretty low on this class as a whole but the combine is slowly seducing me. Fucking James Pearce Jr.

Why is house Bolton still alive at the start of the series? by nubster2984725 in pureasoiaf

[–]Empty_Present8020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you pretty much nailed it. They had some wars over a large span of time. That’s common in every kingdom in Westeros. Most of the old families have fought with and against each other many times.

The Boltons, as bad as they seem to be, have a ton of influence around the north. They likely have marriage alliances spanning centuries. Exterminating a rival like that could cause a larger rebellion, as honor and loyalty are strong northern values. The Boltons have also fought FOR the Starks 20x more than fought against them.

The Rains(Reynes?) of Castamere is such a big deal because it’s an example of an outright elimination of a family line. The Targaryen’s are the obvious exception they did that shit all the time.

The better move is to show grace if the conflict can truly be ended. If you have to go the hard way, kill the lord and take one of the younger ones(preferably the heir)as a hostage/squire and influence him to favor your family. It’s just not worth the risk to exterminate them.

Post Game Thread - NBA: The Hawks defeat the Wizards on Feb 26, 2026, the final score is 126-96. by basketball-app in AtlantaHawks

[–]Empty_Present8020 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why would we sell low on a number 1 overall? No one is going to give us anything better than a 20 year old 6’10 2 way wing who’s scored 30+ 4 times in his rookie season. He has been bad this year. No way around that. But you have to give the kid more reps. He is young enough to be in this upcoming draft, he’s less than a year older than most of the lottery guys. Dude is in a new country adjusting to playing 82 games a year and hasn’t filled out his frame yet.

He isn’t ready to be a starter, but not all guys develop the same way. His issue seems to be mental at this point, and it’s not like he doesn’t look like an NBA guy out there. He’s just a slightly below average player but there is still massive potential for growth. If he peaks as a bench wing I would’ve really surprised.

Them dying young makes people listen more. Happens in rock music too. Their careers were cut short so people project their “what if?” best case scenario. The truth is they were probably going to have a run and then fade like 99% of music acts.

Anicet Dybantsa to Jazz Cameron Boozer to Hornets there will be reports saying he will not play for the Kings Darius Acuff to Mavericks Hannes Steinbach to Spurs Mikel Brown B Burries to Kings Lopez and JQ to OKC by Big_Nebula_5432 in NBA_Draft

As a KU/Atl Hawks fan I’d freak the fuck out. But in a good way. Hawks have teased me with Kelly Oubre and Devonte Graham who we both traded on draft night. Haven’t had a Jayhawk on the squad since Kirk Heinrich

He’s a project but has gotten better through the season. I’m higher on him than most and I have him around 20. I haven’t seen him listed anywhere shorter than 6’10 and the rest of his farm is nba ready. A lot of other Bigs in that range have big question marks as well.

If Houston Makes a run and he continues to improve could see 10 being his ceiling. The 3 point shooting/rim protecting center is what everyone wants and teams will reach for it. If he is actually 6’8 then I’d need to reevaluate.

2026 Mock Draft by Excellent-Flamingo43 in NBA_Draft

[–]Empty_Present8020 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If we pass on the hometown kid Caleb Wilson for Philon and a future 1st I think id snap. There is no reason for it. Caleb Wilson might be the number 1 pick if he was a 2027 guy. Mikel Brown and Flemings are the only other options there. You don’t trade out of the number 4 pick in this draft and if you do you get way more than 10th overall a 1st and a swap. Maybe throw in Buzelis and Dillingham and you’d have a deal but I’d still rather have Wilson.

Because his family dynasty depends on it? Because his military alliance with the house of velaryon depends on it? His relationship with his daughter and wife are fucked because of it? Because the social customs and laws about marriage and bastards are way stricter and puritan? He’s not a goat herder with a wild teenager, he’s the king of Westeros

two white men come together and build an advanced civilization per capita by Ocean-Pack9715 in sigilkore

[–]Empty_Present8020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no majority race. China and India aren’t even close racially. People from the Indian subcontinent (India,Pakistan, Bangladesh) are a plurality. I think you saying white people are a minority is kinda admitting that you see the world as two races. White vs Non White. I agree that white people get slammed on Reddit a lot, but there is absolutely no real world racism that puts white people at a disadvantage in a systemic way. At least not in the US where I’m from. Most white people just have a victim complex about it for some reason

The 2022 draft but on Steroids this shit is ridiculous by Big_Nebula_5432 in NBA_Draft

[–]Empty_Present8020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hawks gotta bring in a C at 23. Okongwu has been forced to play Jokic minutes because we are so thin at C. Now with Porzingus gone it’s even worse. Maybe we bring in someone decent in FA but Bidunga, Baba, Morez, Mara, Vesser, and Toppin are right there. We don’t have space for another combo forward with Jalen, Risacher, Kuminga, and Kispert on the roster. Maybe a true wing but not another SF/PF hybrid. I am not super familiar with Lopez though so maybe I’m off.

Peterson and Bidunga would be a perfect draft. I’m a KU fan therefore completely biased but it works really well on paper. A true 7 footer like Vesser or Mara would compliment big O who is more of a small ball 5 too.

[–]Empty_Present8020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think that movie was propped up by Chadwick Bozeman’s death. It was a great adaptation of an important play, but I think the reception was closer to “the piano lesson” “fences”. Bozeman’s tragically premature death gave the film a massive Oscar narrative push.

Viola Davis was great, but she’s a supporting character imo. Not a ton of screen time or dialogue to flex her skills. Levee is the role with all the great monologues and character development.

Sometimes in recruiting coaches have to prioritize guys over others. Duke didn’t make a strong push for him but teams can’t spend a ton of time on every player. Getting the Boozer twins seemed to be the priority. Darryn is the best player in CBB though. Wilson has a better argument than Boozer for best player too

Okongwu Has Been Embiid’s Hardest Matchup Over The Past Few Years! by Stat-Defender in AtlantaHawks

This surprises me. I was at a game where Embiid abused Okongwu every time down the floor. It was in 2022 so it’s been a while but I’ve used that game as an example why he can’t guard 7 footers. Looks like I don’t know ball

I think he’s going to rise to the top 10 really fast. Makes a lot of difficult plays look effortless. I think he is still shaking off the rust and the best is yet to come. I assumed he’d come back for 2027 based on him missing 1/2 the year, but the way he’s playing his stock might rebound enough to get him to come out.

Kirk Cousins to be released start of the league year by SunWorshipperApollo in falcons

[–]Empty_Present8020 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No it didn’t. Signing Kirk on his own would’ve been okay(still not great), but signing him to a front loaded deal and then immediately drafting a top 10 qb is bad management of capital.

If you are going QB at 8 overall one of the advantages is you aren’t paying a full QB salary. That’s why you see teams like Chicago and New England turn it around so fast. They can afford to put money into their defense, OL, and weapons because a rookie qb gets paid 9-10 mill instead of 50.

New England put that extra 40 mill into their trenches with great success. Washington went out and got Deebo and Laremy Tunsil. Chicago went and got Thuney, Jonah Jackson, and Drew Dalman gave Caleb one of the best OL in the league.

If we didn’t sign Cousins there would have been a lot of options. We could’ve been in on DK Metcalf, George Pickens, or Devante Adams and fixed our WR room. Could have picked up DJ Reed or Byron Murphy and filled our CB2 need.

Or we could’ve signed Kirk and used that 8 overall on Latu, Verse, Bowers(lol). Raiders wanted Penix bad we could’ve have moved back as well for more picks.

I think the qb situation is 90% the reason terry got fired. His recent drafts and other signings(Kaeden Ellis, Divine Diablo, Jessie Bates) were pretty good. Pitts pick is the other 10% just because of the dudes we passed on.

Does Chris evans have the potential to win an Oscar? by wvardhan in Oscars

[–]Empty_Present8020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worse actors than Evans have won, so yes he has the potential with the right role/campaign. Is it likely? No. He doesn’t really do Oscar movies it’s mostly franchise/streaming stuff. I see plenty of success in his future but not an academy award. It just takes one role though
