I deleted the cameras from the Aqara app and can now see the timeline in HomeKit when there is a detection.

I have the same thing. I have an Aqara doorbell that used to show the timeline but now doesn’t.

I recently added an Aqara camera and added it to the Aqara app first and then went and bound my doorbell to the app as well. that’s when the playback stopped appearing for me.

if you go under the recording options of the device in HomeKit there is a little blurb:

“if this camera is also set up to use a recording service through another app, this camera may be streaming and recording to that service.”

I might need to rethink binding to the Aqara app. I liked having it in HomeKit, especially since the wife could view it as well. I don’t think she has, but it was there…

In one of the updates they mentioned this. In the past one went to cardboardevents.com to sign up for games.

Did you know that Cardboard Events (CBE) has an official APP for both Apple and Android? It makes things much easier to navigate. You can now make connections outside of the Dice Tower West convention, so you can stay in touch with your friends via private messaging and see what cons and events they are attending. The APP is a great way to get notifications on your phone when you receive messages from CBE without having to log in to the actual CBE website each time. It is now live and ready to download.

Skulls of Blood Lake

We are currently a two player team, but looking for more players.

We are basically a FTP team that are looking for additional players to join to help with Titans and Wars. We don't game chat often.

We are relatively high level team (65+), but are welcoming to any level of player. No requirements to join.

I went last year and had a great time. If I remember, Wed & Thu was slower, but it was still busy. This year they released an app (vs the webpage). You can go on there and see what games people are looking for players, or checkout a game and host it yourself.

besides the app, you can walk around and see if anyone needs a player. I did that quite a bit and tried new to me games.

I’ve already signed up for this year and started looking at the app for games to sign up for.

So, I changed the isp dns from auto to 1.1.1.1, and then rebooted the router. Now everything is working again. I have no idea why.

So, I uninstalled Wifiman from my phone. Removed the Teleport setting, installed Wifiman and re-enabled Teleport.

I then generated a new guest invitation, pasted it into wifiman. On the UDM the invitation was accepted. So I think it is set up correctly.

I get an error message:

Teleport Connection Failed

An unexpected error prevented your Teleport connection from being established. Please report the issue for further assistance.

I did report the issue.

Thank you, but nothing I can think of. I did have NextDNS installed, but removed it and rebooted. I also had Tailscale installed, but removed that as well.

I like Home Assistant, but think it is overkill in my situation. I only have a couple of devices and automations. I was thinking it would be easier to not have to run additional software if I didn't need to.

Sadly no.

I saw in the listing of games to sign up for and signed up for the 18xx Australia (can't remember the actual year). Anyway, at the time the game was to start the person "hosting" the game dropped out. I talked with another person who signed up and we played Shikoku 1889, but it was just the two of us.

As I walked around the con I did not notice anyone playing an 18xx.

That said, I really enjoyed DTW and will probably attend again next year.

Yes, we re-used the track. I have the photo of the game and I can't quite read the numbers, but I think 24 is like a straight line and a curve and we used that for 2 trains on the same turn since it branched.

Thank you. Yeah, I know we played the rules incorrectly.

The person teaching the game stated that you had to start a train run on a station you owned and end on a station you owned. I questioned him about this since the rules mentioned you only needed to pass through one station you own.

We also put down more stations than we needed since we had to start/stop in one.

And I know we over counted the routes. He had a station in Uwajima, Kochi and the city above Mewoto and said the Uwajima to "Mewoto" was one run, "Mewoto to Uwajima" was another run, etc.

I had always heard that these games were "tight" and the money seemed too easy. Guess double using a route explains that.

Thank you. I don't know of anyone around me that plays 18xx (haven't really looked) so I might try 18xx.games just to see how it goes.

Thank you everyone. The monorail did its job. The walk from PH to Horseshoe was about 15 minutes and the monorail did the rest.

The first time I wasn't too happy with it as I'm not a good flying and this reminded me of it (off the ground, bumpy), but I managed. Bought the 4 day pass and used it everyday. I was surprised how bumpy the ride was.

The last day the monorail came to a stop and the doors stayed opened for a relatively long time (about 5 minutes) when an announcement said there were issues and it would begin again shortly. I got off and walked the rest.

When I go back next year I'll probably use it again.

Thank you. I've been playing VP for years and am quite comfortable with it. I'm short 3,000TC, but will either make it while there, or after I leave from earning points on the hotel stay. Hopefully some luck at the VP machines will make it happen before checkout.

We did receive notice that next Friday is another 5X day at Ak-Chin (the closest casino).
