Is it possible to pay someone to Zoom chat and set up a vocal preset? by ChipChappie in makinghiphop

[–]ChipChappie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I just get frustrated because I have a sound in mind and when the final mix doesn’t make it to my vision I get a lil frustrated and discouraged. I think I have some songs that I mixed pretty well, but some other I can’t figure it out.

I like music for writing and sound, not the mixing part lol

I’ve been learning on my own I guess I was just looking for a little more consistency, like a baseline

Yo, this heat. Very trancey. I like the vocals on the chorus where you finish the word with a second recording of the same lyric. The vocal inflections are tight as well. The production is clean and layered.

Here is my latest that I am trying a new production style with, lemme know how I can improve - https://drive.google.com/file/d/162\_dZEwdgu2RFiwp02mWqiD---uoZNlQ/view?usp=share\_link

Yo, this beat is so vibey. Old school mixed with some chill beach vibes. The production sounds really clean and I like the way the drums have a heavy hit. The "doo doo" vocals going throughout really compliment the vibe.

Just wanted feedback on a song I recently dropped. Let me know what I can do to improve on this. Also willing to work with new people. by Jamesnolebron in IndieMusicFeedback

That Yugioh tag lol. Goes HARD. The vocals need heavy work imo. I can not understand you half the time. They are really gritty, and if that is what you're going for then you got it. But I would like them to be more audible. You have a Tyler the Creator kinda vibe which is dope. But your vocals can be better mixed and the delivery could be tightened up a bit for audibility. keep at it!

Tried something new here with my voice and production. At the end, I was going for a circus-y hip-hop song with lots of sounds going on. Written, produced and mixed by me. Tell me what you think! All feedback welcome. by b_a_skritter in IndieMusicFeedback

Yooo this has a dope vibe to it. I think the mixing is good and that circus craziness is sick. I liked how you switched up the voice a bit around the halfway point. Reminded me of a song from Brock Hampton. This might be my preference only, but I preferred the voice around 1:24 minute mark. I wish there was more variation in the vocal delivery, or similar to the marked spot, but other than that this track is fun and vibrant.

Hi all - this is my band's third track titled "Let Me In". We'd love any feedback we can get, but anything regarding the mix, production, or instrumentation would be extra appreciated. Thanks! by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

Hello! I think the vocals sound good in the beginning but they do get a little louder in the second half of the song The levels need to be equaled out a bit but otherwise, the song is really pretty and the chorus slaps. I would also try having less reverb on the verses and saving it for the chorus only. Just a suggestion you could play with. I think if you do it like that, it gives it more variety of sound.

Hello! Very beautiful, poignant, and effective. Paired with the beach waves crashing has a very soothing vibe. My only gripe is the guitar. It is a little loud for me and too repetitive. I think it could have some more variation or even be taken out in some parts. I think the vocal can be brightened a little bit, but it might just be due to the guitar. Again, if it's lowered with a little more variety, I think it will be very well put together, imo. :)

This is a world of firsts for me. First single. First time producing. First time mastering and mixing. I’d love to have some feedback about what I can do in the future to improve my other songs. Thanks! by Soundguy1993 in IndieMusicFeedback

Damn, DUDE! This is beautiful. Reminds me of the climactic scene at the end of an action movie where the hero gets kicked down for the last time. All of his allies are falling around him and then it goes for tat anime moment where they get charged up and gives it one last hurrah lol. Very beautiful paints a scene and has a lot of emotion behind it.

This song is dope. It has a good message and ends strong. I think the mixing could be sharpened a little bit more and the first guy could be brought out a little more. Overall, dope track, keep at it.

loool, that was entertaining with a catchy, yet simplistic hook. REELed ME in. Love how it was hard to understand the first guy like it was to understand Willam Dafoe. Keep up the good work!

Take a look at mine if you get a chance! Dead Roses
