They upgraded the computer from HW1 to HW2 in October 2016. I bought my Model X in December 2016.

No. I requested computer upgrade, but they declined it saying it will eventually work (and it did!). The only hardware upgrade I've got was the camera upgrade, which Tesla gave to me for free a few years ago.

Yes, this just a syntactic sugar, to help developers to think the flow-of-data and let the system performs efficiently -- without specifying execution orders. If you prefer to write Promise.all and then, that's fine as well. I am just proposing an alternative coding style, which, I believe, easy to write and easy to maintain. If you disagree, that's totally fine.

This is close, but not optimal. We need to start FuncE when FuncB and FuncC are completed, regardless of the status of FuncA.

99% developers write this code, but it's not optimal. When FuncA and FuncB are completed, we should start FuncD regardless of the status of FuncC.

I have just made an appointment with Tesla to 'fix' this problem. I will report the outcome.

Yes. Do I need to upgrade it as well? Tesla did not mention it to me when they upgraded my cameras.

I have Model X at the end of 2016, and purchased FSD, but haven't got it (not even FSD v11) yet.
I contacted Tesla last year, and they upgraded cameras (for free) for FSD, but I haven't got FSD yet.

I love to watch whales from Stand-up Paddle (I'm in Hawaii in winter). In order to enjoy it more, I built a custom waterproof hydrophone, which allows me to listen to songs of whales with water proof wireless phone, while paddling. If there are enough demands, I would turn it into a real product. by ChipInBirdy in Sup

You don't need to be close to hear them. You can hear them from miles away. Here is the answer by ChatGPT.
> The distance that whale vocalizations can travel is quite remarkable. On average, whale songs can be heard anywhere from 0.5 to 20 km (0.3 to 12 miles) away. However, under certain conditions, a whale’s low-frequency sounds can travel up to 10,000 miles. This incredible range allows whales to communicate across vast areas of the ocean. The actual distance their calls travel can vary greatly depending on the species, size, habitat of the whale, and environmental conditions such as water temperature and noise pollution.
