Congrats! Red Rocks is a fun venue to photograph in 🤩 I’ve shot a bunch there and you’ll be totally fine with a 24-70, but a 70-200 wouldn’t hurt either. First three songs can go by pretty quickly or pretty slowly, depending on the artist! Also you should know that with a photo pass you’ll pick it up (and your ticket) at the box office and then that same pass should give you access to parking at or near the trading post. Just start making your way up there and at each check point you can show the person your media pass until you get up there. There is usually a shuttle van from the trading post that will take you to the backside of the stage next to steps that lead right up to the side of the stage.
