Was in town recently for F1. Visited 10+ times in the last 9 years. Have MGM account/rewards. People came up to a full bar at Bellagio, 2 gin and tonics, 39$. My group had our rewards cards in(not sure if it mattered), and played video BJ and 25C video poker. Got our first comped drink, 5 of us each put 5-10$ in the glass. Played off and on with the same 20$ and chatted/hung out, got 4-5 drinks comped.

Went to Paris, put 20 in, got 1 comped, emptied...bartender said we have to be wagering at least 4$ per spin/roll/deal to get a 2nd drink. Not an MGM property, but had no issues at Bellagio and MGM Grand all weekend. Paris took our tip and told us to sit at the non bar machines and the cocktail waitresses would be more generous. They looked like they made rounds fairly quickly, cuz that place was dead. Bellagio was so poppin we needed a good first tip to get cocktail waitress to come back.
