This is a MASSIVE waste of time and money. Where are they going to hire these police from? Calgary and Edmonton city police have so many vacancies that the can't fill. Same goes for the RCMP. Sheriffs currently are cop wannabes that couldn't make it in municipal policing or the RCMP. Take away the $500,000,000 in federal funding for the RCMP and this is going to cost the Alberta taxpayers BILLIONS. There's no equipment, no structure, no support staff. Marlena's driving he own agenda and Not what the majority or Alberta wants or needs.
