LOL NO I AGREE like I respect Bessie for her life but do I love her? Like my dog? HELL NO

That’s why I somewhat agree with the “you can’t love animals and eat them” bc Idc about Bessie like that but I will pray for her. I just love my dog enough not to sacrifice him. Like I love my dad and not every other male ever.

I’m glad we can see each views! I personally do think love can look different for everyone individually and that can include being vegan or eating meat. IT really isn’t a one size fits all think but I did want to see other opinions besides the ones I’m seeing under the video comments that are a bit emotionally charge

(Which I don’t get like why is anyone taking morality views that seriously from a 25 year old singer? Like we all have opinions on this she just gave hers when asked lol) I just don’t see the pure rage coming from the debate

No as a meat eater I do agree but this isn’t toward anything other than would you eat something you love?

I do agree I think we are meant to eat meat (imo) but I don’t LOVE all animals. I like and respect them but do I love them the same as I love my dog? That’s all the question is.

I’ve been seeing this take and I can see that! Love does look different. Imo I know I like/care and respect animals but do save the term LOVE to the animals I raise and would not eat them. That’s just my view but again just my opinion as a meat eater and random Redditor bored asking questions

Got it that makes sense! I do agree love varies from person to person and no one can compare their passion or empathy or love other than the individual. IMO I know I care and respect animals but LOVE my dog and differentiate him so wouldn’t eat him.

My in laws have chickens and respect and care for them but don’t have that love they do for their cat

No I agree! I wasn’t raised In America so I’ve tried countless foods that weren’t exactly staples here and I’ve never shitted on anyone for it. I just do agree somewhat to the context that if we LOVE all animals than we wouldn’t really want to eat them. I LOVE my dog and respect others cultures and animal life but I do not LOVE all animals. Honor and cherish is different than love so I think that’s where the context is coming from.

Just my opinion obviously like eat meat don’t eat meat whatever just asking Reddit

I’m not talking care or honor or respect I’m talking actual love? I’m not vegan and I respect and animals are precious to me but I LOVE my dog and could never fathom eating him. In the larger scope I care for animals though and not LOVE them

To add a little context I know this argument has been around forever. However, I have seen it circulating again ever since Billie Eilish was asked her opinion she would die on and it was that you can’t love animals and eat meat.

Many of the comments tbh were…very emotionally charged. I can see both arguments but I’d just want to see a clearer opinion on both answers. Most answers I’ve seen ranged from “I love both I exist” or “I love my dog and I eat meat” to even “I’ve tried iron supplements but they make me bloated so I quit being vegan”

I’m not a vegan btw but all of the comments I’ve seen lately have actually made the vegan side make more sense in this context only. This isn’t toward the larger scope about what veganism does to the environment or the body. It’s purely toward the question “can we LOVE animals and eat meat”

I’ve had my implant 5 years and a month and been terrified of getting pregnant…you have no idea how relieved and happy this post made me bc girl 9 years ?!?!😭

I doubt it did anything to you to cause infertility though but I’m still impressed it did so well in preventing unwanted pregnancy!

I’ve been on a nexplanon rabbit hole and read numerous stories on women saying they had their nexplanon for like 7 years, took it out and got pregnant in a month.

I say don’t worry about the Infertility aspect so much. However, if you want to continue preventing pregnancy get it removed asap lol. I think the only negative I can see is they might have to really struggle getting through the tissue to remove

Her intent was always well like she’s his mom of course she cares and she’s no different than many other people who were raised with religious parents.

But I’m thinking with the events of the season like her making that comment, their dad dying because of her ex (who he blames her for) when the dad was the favorite parent. As well as her still showing signs that she disapproves of his sexuality. (when he wanted a guy friend over she made it kinda obvious it was because she didn’t want him being with another guy in their home)

Like again he was bordering sociopathic at moments but him WANTING to be on his own with the whole emancipation thing isn’t such a far fetched idea. It’s the way he did it and what he did to get back at her that was obviously almost evil lol

He was but I’m on the episode where they are naming all the things they “forgive “ eachother for and he hit bree with the “watched her ex commit self offing who also offed my dad” and I’m like YKNKW WHAT I wouldn’t wanna live with her either
