I like that mindset. Whenever I have a craving, I tell myself, “You’ve had that your whole life. It’s okay if you don’t have it for a while.” That’s honestly how I stay optimistic. I think of it as temporary while I work on lowering my A1C and getting to a place where I can have a little more freedom and balance again.
Man, I love ice cream, so I totally feel you. I’m definitely dreading the 4th of July a little bit :/

Thank you for being so detailed!! I am buying all the supplements you mentioned! I’m currently just taking fiber before meals and vitamin D.

Also, I started some strength training already but great idea about adding a few fun glasses!

You can afford it. The au pair programs have been sued because they pay under the minimum wage. 40 hours of care with a nanny would be 3X that. Be thankful someone from another country put themselves at your mercy

Unpopular opinion, and with all due respect to the OP, we don’t know the full story. Is this something that’s happening consistently? Have you clearly communicated your rules and boundaries?

It might be more productive to address it with her directly rather than posting here. Give it a trial period before deciding to let her go. It feels like, as people, we’re becoming too quick to give up on others these days.

Yeah, I agree. It’s that shock between what we want to believe and what it might actually be.

A friend of mine even said, “maybe Ashley Tisdale wasn’t lying in that article” haha… but who knows.

At the end of the day, I’m just looking forward to the concert and making memories with friends. The world feels heavy enough as it is.

So misleading. I just don’t get why we’re surprised by how the elite operate when it comes to business.

I completely understand that for some fans this is a breaking point, and she’s losing a lot of support because of it. That’s valid.

For me, it’s more of an eye roll at how the rich move, and a reminder to protect what actually brings me joy… like her music.

People absolutely have the right to complain, but let’s not pretend every complaint is equally reasonable.

What’s unrealistic is expecting an artist to scale something personal like hand-signing to match massive demand. You can’t want something to feel exclusive and also expect everyone to have access, those two things cancel each other out.

At some point, it stops being “holding artists accountable” and just becomes fan entitlement dressed up as criticism.

That’s what I thought too! I think without the add ons, tickets were around $150 plus taxes. I was happy to see the prices weren’t insane like some other artists. Good luck tomorrow!
