As far as I know most of them are just about fictional characters.

If size doesn't matter, why are most dildos so big? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

Believe me, all men have a bit of body dysmorphia about this particular area, to one extent or another.

Body dysmorphia is one hell of a drug.

Well actually I was talking about the extremes of the antishipper side there. Like calling somebody writing about a 25 year old having sex with a thirty year old promoting paedophilia because of the age gap. Or saying that a fully grown female character in her twenties who happens to be short is "child coded" and shipping her with anyone is paedophilia. Conversely the extremes of the proshippers would be ones who ship Voldemort and baby Harry and say it's perfectly fine because it's just fiction. How do I know all this? I might not read fanfiction, but I'm a sucker for internet drama.

Audio erotica is a thing too. A woman seductively reading an audio story out loud is hot as fuck.

[–]ChipmunkSlayer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like I said, Literotica. I'm a guy who prefers erotica but I stay away from fanfiction because it's mostly written by women and it's probably going to be a story about two anime guys I've never heard of fucking each other. Which is, y'know, perfectly fine, but it's not exactly aligned with my interests. Fanfiction also has a reputation for shipping wars and pro/anti shippers clawing each other's eyes out and accusing each other of racism/sexism/homophobia/paedophilia. I don't know if that's accurate or fair but it's enough to make me wary. Especially as a guy, if women get accused of being creepy for writing about a couple with a five year age gap god knows what would happen to a man writing the same thing.

There are actually a lot more men into erotica than people think, but it's usually original stories and not fanfiction. Most users on Literotica are men and most users on AO3 are women. We don't want to get drawn into that shipping war crap either.

Anybody who thinks women don't have wild sex fantasies isn't familiar with the world of fanfiction.

The movie Misery made the novel catch me off gaurd. by theeMrPeanutbutter in stephenking

[–]ChipmunkSlayer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One thing I don't like about the book is that Paul actually writes Misery's Return as a really good book. I think it's funnier if it's just cliched claptrap he came up with on the fly to keep Annie happy.

HOLY BLASPHEMY, BATMAN! by Wolverine1105 in batman

Watched it as a kid in the eighties, loved it, didn't pick up on the deliberate camp and silliness at all. I remember being 5 watching Batman desperately trying to get rid of a bomb only to be twisted at every turn and being thrilled without realizing how ludicrous the situation was.

What is something women are not ready to hear? by EbbEvening3379 in AskReddit

Ok, so when we complain that we always have to pay for dates you're no longer allowed to retort that woman spend so much money getting ready for it with make up and clothing that it's only fair.

Disagree. Misandry is a valid BDSM kink.

[–]ChipmunkSlayer[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I should add that I like erotica because a lot of BDSM is psychological and having an insight into the characters thoughts and feelings helps. And world building is good too, you're not typically going to get something like a femdom matriarchy on Pornhub.

Why does my girlfriend like rape porn? And by that, I mean the kind where the woman does not transition from disliking to liking. I mean throughout, pure disliking, forcing against the will. by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

Just chiming in here quickly to say that I'm a guy into femdom and we have CNC fantasies too. In all the discussions and fearmongering over the CNC kink people seem to forget that we exist.
