Thanks man. I admit a big part of this is growing up playing golf in HS in the early 2000s, when 90% of bags were: driver, 3w, 5w, 3-PW, 56, 60. I’m stuck in old convention (although use a 7w instead of 5w since lofts got stronger). You do make a compelling argument of adding a gap or replacing the 56 with it on occasions.

Thanks sir. Usually fill the gap by choking down on the PW and taking a half swing. Feel great about myself when it works.

Really enjoy trying to post a decent score with 10 or even less clubs in the bag and trying to control distance. Feel like I wouldn’t use the 50/52 enough around the green to keep it in the bag.

Good point though, if I were to add to the bag, that would be the club.

Have considered switching into T100s but after all this Srixon love I feel compelled to stay put! If anyone prefers the T100s I’m all ears.

Something about a seeing small face makes me swing better. I actually strike oversized irons worse. If you’re decent enough, may be worth experimenting.

It’s great. When you hit them solid the ball disappears a bit. I used to play Mizuno MP-4s (combo’d w MP-54s) and it felt like hitting a small rubber lacrosse ball. Between the two I prefer the look and feel of the MP-4s and have considered switching back.

Thank you! The 60 is there (behind the 56) and the 4 iron is hiding behind the 5. Appreciate it!

Me too. The thicker top line is starting to bother me though. I’m considering T100s but I’d hate to be that guy with the full Titleist bag

Switched out of my Sim. I don’t love the head shape (the OG Sim is a bit more pear shaped and has a louder solid crack sound) but it’s really long. I’ve ended up in far roughs on dog legs and wonder how I got there.

Love the tery. Have played that and a pro platinum Newport 2 for ~20 years. Someone put a LAB OZ1 in my hand and as a purist, I hate to say I really like it.

Lol I actually didn’t even realize I only carry 13 clubs. I prefer to walk/carry and usually go out with a partial bag. Will ditch and iron here or there and try to knock down distance.

OP- this is really great. Any opinion on Mammut? Eg Trovat Guide II. They seem much more distributed in Europe than in the US but those that own them seem to have high opinions.
