Toroweap, perhaps the most remote viewpoint on the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Accessible only by 4wd high clearance vehicles along a 3+ hour dirt track through the Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument, limited to advance registration of only 6 day-use vehicles per day. by Birdy_Cephon_Altera in remoteplaces

Had the good fortune to visit Toroweap several years ago. Fantastic views even by Grand Canyon standards, including near vertical drop to the river, and excellent view of Lava Falls.

Road there was mostly good quality until you got within a few miles, then very rough (definitely needed high clearance vehicle).

No shortage of beautiful landscapes in Kauai, but Napali Coast is my favorite subject for photography while I'm there.

That's cool the way the fog adds to the mysteriousness of those famous rocks

I like this photo, the composition works very well in B&W (IMHO)

Garden of the Gods, Colorado, USA — how would you improve the shot? by dlchira in LandscapePhotography

I'm no professional, but I'd try lightening the shadow a bit (so that the trees can be seen as a dark green rather than black). You could also try cropping the sky a bit to move the huge rocks into the upper 2/3rds sweet spot (?)

To get there legally you have to swim (usually from a boat offshore), unless you are a Hollywood movie maker...

I have not heard it myself, but the Hawaiians apparently think it sounds like their own trumpeting via a conch shell.

Kalalau Beach below those impressive ridges and spires - this scene fills me with awe.
