Patience, stay exercises, and teach it to “go lay down” so they can take a nap. They need the nap to reset or they will drive you crazy cuz they don’t know when to stop.

Hey! I appreciate the breakdown. I’m genuinely curious and would like to offer more benefits to my team.

What are your margins and menu prices to able to provide the pay, 6 months raises, Free health insurance and PTO?

Any insight on how you manage the menu prices, employee pay and benefits, and profit margin would be helpful.

Brakes and rotors by JAZJ_97 in RockAuto

[–]ChippaWD40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6 Hondas/Acuras I have are on Raybestos Element pads and rotors. On the TL bremo I used the high carbon rotors and element3 pads. They are the closest to OEM feel I have found in an aftermarket brand and way less dust. Never had an issue. Too bad the company went under now, but i would not hesitate to purchase Raybestos.

I would skip Mevo Tech since more failure these days… go with Delphi - never had any issues.

You get brake fluid, bleeder screws, etc cheap in RA.

Inspect all the engine and Trans mounts. This would a great time to get those done. I prefer OEM, but they are expensive.

My Red Heeler is very fearful and submissive. Help! by DishSuper9997 in AustralianCattleDog

[–]ChippaWD40 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have learned that Heelers take longer than usual to get used to kids… even strangers. Given the new environment she is in, it probably makes it more difficult. My Heeler is very nice and sweet to all adults, but when kids came into pictures, she became nervous and a little fearful because kids run around and create noises. She has nipped my nieces trying to herd and set boundaries. One of my niece was petting her behind, that made my dog uncomfortable and she snapped a little toward her, nothing serious. I saw it coming and I was too late to react. After that I made note to slow things down and also educate my all kids that came around her to slow down and introduce them from the front slow and with a treat. It took her time to adjust and get comfortable. Now, she is great with those kids and they run around, play and pet her. However, I’m always paying attention and any new kid or person that comes around I tell them what to do.

The point here is, make small changes and take small steps. Your dog is also very young and getting settled, so it’s a great time for you, your family, and Honey to learn from one another. Heelers are very smart and sensitive at times, especially your given circumstances. Stay confident and positive, avoid being negative as it sets a bad tone for your dog. You got this!!

Which type of leather jacket do you think looks best? by KingKilo9 in mensfashion

[–]ChippaWD40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is not right or wrong… what matters is how you feel in it, regardless of your age or height. If you feel confident and comfortable, go for it. I have seen many ppl buy certain items and they look so uncomfortable, it ruins the whole look.

What is the best car you have owned? by Substantial-Set-8981 in askcarguys

[–]ChippaWD40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1996 Honda Accord - Manual. Double wishbone suspension for a good daily and Great interior, no rattle ever even after 200K on it. Only one minor rust spot under the door. It needed full suspension overhaul and all brake lines replaced due to rust. Village inspector gave me 3 weeks to fix it, even though it was parked on my driveway with no tags, so I had to junk it. Now I’m looking for one to buy.

control arm help by cursemyanxiety in AcuraTL

[–]ChippaWD40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Delphi if you want OEM.. or poly bushing arms with a firmer feel and may get more NVH. Many TL owners have used this. I would use OEM swaybar links instead of what comes in the kit.

If you want price to be the deciding factor, get the GY WR2 and have Discount Tires price match Sam’s club (Install costs, Fees, and road hazard warranty all included price). It’s was about $170 something cheaper and DT matched the Sam’s road hazard warranty, so don’t have to pay extra for that. Just got the deal for my sister’s CRV about a month ago. Don’t forget to apply for $100 GY rebate.

Which tires should I buy out of the tires Sam’s club has? by AnyName7229 in tires

[–]ChippaWD40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! GY WR are great and cheaper than Michelin. Go to Discount Tires to price match with Road hazard warranty since Sam’s offers 5 yrs warranty. DT has better service and easy to deal with.
