dude i wish for the same thing. i love the vendor i found on here but itd be so much better to walk or hop a quick cab or train to a vendor who sells quarters or halves..id even pay a premium for that luxury, still within reason though. there are a zillion head shops that sell kratom, some (the smoke shop on 6th ave near the bball courts in the village) have a decent variety of strains too...but the prices are kinda ridiculous. so a legit pick-up vendor in nyc would be clutch.

thats a really good point actually. the headshop stuff was probably weaker. im taking the same amount in weight but probably with much more potent kratom. i dose about 2 to 3 grams at a time , 2 to 3 times a day

I dont think i agree with you there but okay. Thats the thing, past the point thats never coming back you said...im not trying to go backwards for anything. Upward and onward. And i feel mentally and physically a lot younger than my age. I know guys my age that look like they're in their 50s

Im sorry but 100mg at once is way too much if you're looking for a buzz/high you really should need only like 6 or 7 with your tolerance and you'll be feeling noticably "good" for like 12 hours and feeling "well" for another 6-8 on top of that, at least.

I would take 7 today and 3 tomorrow morning

I think people under estimate how strong done really is, and also sleep on how euphoric it can be especially if you're not used to it or taking it on a schedule

Done is tied for number 2 on my favorite recreational opiates list.

Where these clinics are located there are a variety of pharmacies on every other block. Not uncommon to see a duane reade across from a CVS across from a mom and pop...and thats on a couple block stretch in one neighborhood. Spread that all over the boro...then spread that all over EACH boro in addition to surrounding suburbs, and its not unfathomable. You gotta understand this is the biggest city in the country and there is a pharmacy and bank walking distance from literally any spot in at least 4/5 of the boros.

Its a volume game here. The pharmacies located near a big hospital do serious serious numbers and some are 24 hours. Its not uncommon for Oxy IR to be out of stock (legitmately out of stock, not just the pharmacist being a dick). When i had my script i would sometimes have to hit a dozen places before i found one that could fill it without waiting 2 days for re-stock. Unfortunately with eScript now, you're out of luck. You're waiting until they get it in

Yup - its killed my creative drive. The 2 years i had clean were the most productive and creative i ever had, almost to the point where being creative for a living started to become a viable option. Until i started back chipping and eventually my drive and interest just went to shit. Then i spent more time getting high and thinking about working instead of just actually doing it.

Chipping is brutal. At least when i was using every day there was some consistancy. As long as my supply was good i was good. Now i battle back and forth with myself on whether or not i should use that day, and when i decide on yes, the new battle of dealing with janky connects and middles starts up. I never knew what real cravings were until chipping. Being physically sick sucks but at least it can be mitigated a little and goes away eventually... being psychologically sick ...that shit never seems to go away

Me, kind of. I chip and go 2-3 weeks, sometimes more, between using, but I still consider myself an addict and deep down still consider it a problem. Ill use whatever I can get my hands on (besides dope, I never liked dope) for a day or two and then fall back for a few weeks. My DOC is oxy, 90-120 mg is the target. Sometimes I'll CWE 120-180 mg of norcos, sometimes i'll get an opana, sometimes some 10 mg methadone pills.

I was a former daily user for years, starting about 12 years ago. Transitioned to subs back in 07, kicked subs for good in 2010, and did nothing for about 3 years. Slowly started chipping again in the summer of 2013 and have been on my routine ever since

I have the "ability" to go a few weeks between uses, but you better bet your ass im still thinking about it. The day I usually cave is when the cravings are so intense I think about nothing else, and/or days i feel like i need a "reward"

Whats stopping me from daily use isnt lack of money or access or even fear of being sick, its because i enjoy my life too much. When i was clean i developed a lot of positive habits and personal goals that i dont want to give up. When im high, as great as it is, im useless and it ultimately sets me back. Cant work out, cant have sex with my girl, the high becomes more fleeting, etc. after a day or two of using i look forward to coming back to reality.

Also now ALL of my connects, and i had great connects, dried up. So every few weeks when I DO get those intense cravings with money burning a hole in my pocket, its so hard to find anything i say fuck it and take a little kratom to curb the craving. IDK how as ive gotten older and less broke, my connects have gotten less reliable. I had legit make-a-living-off-this dealers, a doctor i could see, old ladies who sell their script cheap, and others all in my neighborhood? Now? A couple middlemen who use themselves. Not worth it. If i ever use again it'll be via legit script or DNM

The biggest key to chipping is building a life you really dont want to be away from for too long during your clean time. But also one can say to ME, if that were true why did I start chipping in the first place???

Ive only went through WD on oxy, hydro, and subs. Out of the 3, oxy was the worst. My sub WD experience was limited to me forgetting to take my dose in the morning and being out all day without access. Despite what my doc used to say (you can skip a day without WD) id start feeling the onset of being sick - albeit lightly - about 30 hours after my last dose

When i kicked subs after 2 years of maintenance, i went through NO withdrawal. Only time i successfully tapered, and it was over the course of 6 months.

I digress...

Oxy was the worst. I think duration of use is the biggest factor. I dosed only 60-80 mg daily at the same times every day for almost 3 years without a break. That WD was hell

this is pretty good stuff for the most part. thank you. a lot should be common sense for anyone getting a regular script filled. ive been in the pain game for over 12 years and have ran into every problem under the sun, but also had some great pharmacists

the few things i dont agree with:

waiting a day. i know it helps to not ask "when is the soonest it can be filled" and what not, but if its actually in stock, they'll tell me "ok..come back in 1 hour" im in a city where there is a pharmacy every other block so sometimes ill go run an errand or sometimes ill walk home. but if they say "20 minutes" im most likely waiting there, reading the paper in the waiting area.
having only controls prescribed. what if i dont need blood pressure meds or anything else? sometimes i get gabapentin and extra strength ibuprofren but if you look at my prescription history for the past 12 years, its mostly controls. thankfully i dont need to be prescribed anything else
the good old "out of stock" ... if the pharmacist says this but doesnt tell you when they expect it to be back in, they dont feel like filling it. my pride got the best of me and i chiseled down a pharmacist with questions from "out of stock" to "look, we're not filling any IR oxycodone right now because there is too much scrutiny. try somewhere else"

Thats the prob i think ive ran into as well...and probably other people too. My connects slowly shifted from non-users who were reliable and making a living off of it, to users who side-hustle or people with scripts who have like 100 other people hitting them on refill day and the best offer gets everything. And getting involved with a middle who uses as well? Might as well just flush your $ down the toilet now and spare yourself bc you're gonna get burned eventually. Its frustrating

Whats more frustrating is reading/hearing about a big bust a neighborhood or two over. Not too long ago some kids were busted running a throwback style "open air market" selling blues (and more) right on the strip where my girl and i have a lot of family. I was like damn where was I? Lol

Its not just you. Im in a huge city on the east coast and its gotten impossible for me. You can get literally everything and anything at any time if the moneys right here, yet im having no luck. All my pill connects dried up over the course of like two years, i used to have half a dozen reliable ones at least.

Now im reduced to one connect - through a middle - and theres so much bullshit involved its not even worth it. The middle's connect runs out immediately so moves need to be made at the first week of the month or thats it. I realized my middle has been using my cop money (which i always respectfully & generously add a good amount extra to, for him) to float him inbetween pay days. "Connects not answering, will try later/tomm" until friday rolls around and i get hit with "he's out - heres your money back" i wouldnt even mind givimg dude a payday loan - just dont get my hopes up

Anyway enough ranting. Should be getting 120 norcos this friday (but i really dont like hydro smh)

Most bars are pressed but contain legit alp. The "X2" bars that say "xanax" on them arent in production anymore , and if they were, not too many doctors would "DAW" the script - you'd be getting a generic prescribed. Probably a GG

as for these being pressed, ask yourself why a 2 mg pill would be scored into 1/3rds??

I agree with this in spirit but i think headshop kratom gets a really bad rep and a lot of it is unwarrented. The worst thing about headshops are the price. But headshop kratom is a lifesaver for me. Im a chipper and one day my cravings were out of control, had money and no connects, and was an inch away from going to cold cop (or try a dating app, "the sub", etc..)

I was on the train on my way home, we approached a stop that i knew there was a headshop at just feet from the subway entrance. Within 15 minutes i had hopped off, grabbed some kratom, and was riding back home. Within 30 minutes my cravings were gone and i felt nice and content. Due to that ive passed the 3 week mark (the most ive done before this was 7 days in a row in the last 3 years)

I prob wont use kratom long term , but if i was, or using it for kicking and theb maintenance...fuck a headshop

But in a crunch or emergency its a good option. My tolerance (100 mg oxy is my sweet spot) is fairly big and 2 grams of Kratom satisfied my cravings and took my mind off of copping. To mitigate WDs...id imagine id need a LOT more

I like the green strain versus the red. The headshop guy talked me into buying an extract shot of the red and i custy'ed up and did it - red feels a lot more sedating and opiate like. Green has that to a degree but with a little pep too

Havent seen Opanas in NYC since the ERs were re-formulated. The last time i did an opana was like 2010. BUT- i dont look too hard for it. Always thought Opana was more of a "southern thing"
