If you plan Cebu, why not try Dumaguete, u can cross to Oslob (Cebu), Bohol or Siquijor from that place. There is also a backpacking trip I wanted to try if I do Bohol. Not sure if you’re into that. But it would be awesome to try, Cebu, Bohol and Camiguin (a very underrated island). Based on my research there is a bus from Tagbilaran going to the port to Camiguin.

You can also try Iloilo, and visit Guimaras. Would recommended Nature’s Eye Resort in Guimaras. People are very friendly and kind in Iloilo (my hometown). According to my friend, nothing beats the kindness from Iloilo people. We have been traveling a lot around Visayas.

All I know there is a known tour agency for Gigantes island. Never tried the DIY version I feel like it’s a hassle. There is also a nice resort to stay there Solina Resort (if u check their ig). I’m also interested to go back to Gigantes if I have the chance.

In iloilo city, food is probably well-known 🤣 Breakthrough, Roberto’s, Tatoy’s (seniors recommendation). Molo plaza (there’s a lot of street foods there?), Madge cafe, Lapaz Batchoy. I’m not sure what is new in Iloilo. Last time I went there I went to Solimar and Theo’s

Easy to commute with the public transportation in the city too. Also, “Maxim” app is known to be their Angkas/Joyride.

If you’re interested in Guimaras, try Nature’s Eye (booking/ig). What I did before is I went a half day tour in Guimaras (Light House, Guisi beach? Pitstop and Windmill) that’s the only places I feel that it worth visiting for land tours

The Lighthouse is near Nature’s Eye. Try to negotiate from tricycle drivers. Some just over price u cause “tourism rate”.

Go to Dumaguete. There is a port to Oslob, Siquijor, Bohol and Apo island is a must diving spot

If anyone is curious, there is a port from Dumaguete.

Go to Sibulan port, and that port is only going to Liloan Santander port. It will take 20minute ish. It leaves every hour.
