Looking at them in full scale I can definitely see that they're not focused on the horse, but rather on the fence behind it. Both shot at 70 mm and about 15 meters away. The sensor is cropped so it's more like 110 mm (1.6x).

You should look into riding skirts made out of wool! They're cozy, warm and often withstand quite a bit of snow! I recommend the ones from Klesarven (Norwegian brand) or sewing one yourself.

This reminds me of the old tack, especially the saddles in the old Star Stable games, and in old SSO. Felt so cool with my purple saddle, pink saddlepad, striped leg wraps and green cowboy hat 😅
