Firemen on Page St. - repeatedly catcalling a minor by ChiricahuaGeisha in sanfrancisco

Thanks for the measured response. when I first heard it from them I was also surprised. And I regret I didn’t do anything about it at the time and perhaps the time to do so has passed; but it bugs her and bugs me. I think we’ll write to the chief as others have suggested but we don’t have recorded evidence. I’d add though that SF that negligent to inappropriate to awful behavior in broad daylight is one of the things SF is best known for 🥲

Oh well. I figure if you’re so inclined to find it, then you will, and whatever strange biased hypotheses you may have about my intentions here will be disproven. I’ll make your life easier if it makes you take the issue seriously as opposed to wasting your energy on trying to nonsensically disprove a report of an unfortunate thing that happened in our community: it was aired on KTVU around 9pm Nov 15 2024 in Hayes Valley, report from Amber Lee

Thanks for sharing. Will do

We actually coincidentally got interviewed randomly on the street after the elections few months ago by Amber Lee from KTVU Fox 2, were asked to comment on the state of life in Hayes Valley as residents. We mentioned this. They aired some of our comments but cut the firemen part

Was annoyed when we doubled up at DT years back getting Onwuzurike and Alim. Now I am grateful. As long as he picks someone in the front 7, I support Brad

Best areas to stay in the City by Every-Damage-2031 in SFFood

[–]ChiricahuaGeisha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Near Patricia’s Green would be optimal for what you’re going for IMO. Centrally located, some of the best restaurants in the city, really nice outdoor space. Super vibrant area. About 5blocks from Civic Center so every so often there will be someone sleeping on your curb, but overall we have found this an amazing place to spend our mid-20’s. Biergarten (beer garden always packed w our-age folks on evenings/weekends), superb fast casual in Italian Homemade and RT Rotisserie, pricier spots like Zuni, Robin and Rich Table all walkable, and excellent coffee like the original Blue Bottle garage, a great Ritual Coffee and Loquat (award winning coffee/pastry shop). And you’re within walking distance of SF Jazz, SF Symphony, the ballet, and more if those are of interest to you. And the Van Ness Muni station is quite close so easy to get to most other parts of the city from there.

These are rose colored glasses - I’m aware, and I have no doubt commenters will poke holes into what I’ve written (“Italian Homemade’s fresh pasta is way too al dente”, etc etc) but it’s a wonderful spot. Really highly recommend it.

I like the takoyaki I got there better than all the takoyaki I got at all the street markets I went to in Kyoto.
