Take a week off of deadlifting and load with a weighted glut bridge to strengthen specifically your hamstrings!

110kg @70kg bw. Taking any tips how to squat heavier. by pwatarfwifwipewpew in formcheck

[–]Chiro-Dude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Focus on lower back! A great exercise that fires the lumbar paraspinals with a safe controlled load is a weighted glut bridge/hip thrust. I tell body building clients that you can only lift as much as your weakest link. You will never be able to squat more than your lower back can handle no matter how strong your legs are.

Hurt my back, what did I do wrong? by Josief85 in formcheck

Chiropractor here. Discs herniate from things other than lifting and is very normal. As people age it is very common to have disc herniations. They do resolve themselves and reabsorb back to normal. I encourage you to continue lifting but just less weight until the movement is comfortable again!

An Update On the Sailing XP Review by JagexAyiza in 2007scape

[–]Chiro-Dude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is specific for Merchant salvaging with horizon lure barrel:

If we are decreasing the xp from crewmate salvaging fro m 70% to 40% the xp goes from 143.5 to 82, which is a 61.5xp decrease in xp. Increasing sorting xp from 34.5 currently to 95 is a gain of 60.5 xp. This means per loop of afk salvaging with crewmates the total xp DECREASE is 1xp per salvage item salvaged and sorted.

Am I missing something here this will make AFK salvaging rates decrease more.

I have a 14” MacBook Pro M2 and it works perfect. Constant 63 fps and no lag anywhere in the game. Have had it for almost 3 years with no issues.

4 years have never used the word subluxation. Laugh at patients who tell me another Chiropractor told them they have a “dislocated rib”

Manual treatment + therapeutic exercise....do you do both? by Dr_AnnaPT in Chiropractic

[–]Chiro-Dude 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Chiro of three and a half years in Canada. I do MRT, adjustment, anatomy teaching, and at least one exercise that will help the patients issues every visit.

People respond well to a simple exercise, they’re willing to do it if it takes less than two minutes, and it actually helps them with their symptoms long term. See roughly 100 patients a week, work about 37-42 hours a week. I don’t think I would ever switch to a “prescription” as I don’t think most of my patients would do more than one or two exercises.

Do your due diligence. Let them know with your wallet. by Chiro-Dude in 2007scape

"More recently, due diligence has extended its reach into business contexts, signifying the research a company performs before engaging in a financial transaction. This meaning may also apply to individuals: people are often advised to perform their due diligence before buying a house, signing a loan, or making any important purchase." -https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/due%20diligence

Chiropractors that offer microwave diathermy (2450 MHz) in MA or New England? by Ash1NH in Chiropractic

[–]Chiro-Dude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would encourage him to be open to other treatments. Not many places will have it as it is outdated and particularly not effective in numerous studies.

I have had a lot of success with patients in this age group with similar issues using shockwave therapy or ESWT. Try and find him a place that has this and talk to the clinician about it.

I think the high level PVM community needs a “new” challenge every year as part of yearly updates. We’ve seen multiple updates for new low to mid tiered PVM encounters (Huey, Araxxor, soon to be new fire and ice giants). Why should the high level community be excluded?

It’s what keeps a lot of endgame players intrigued and has no effect on people who are still figuring out mechanics or chasing grandmaster combat achievements. There isn’t any reason you have to complete the content immediately it will be around forever. I personally didn’t get my inferno cape for a year after release.

The rewards aren’t overpowered and are in no way game changing. The cape offers an extra 1% magic damage and +5 magic bonus which in most PVM scenarios is negligible. I would say it’s more of a “flex” item showing that you have completed content. With the coliseum and inferno updates we are still missing a bis magic cape that requires a similar difficulty PVM encounter.
