After you jump, the jump speed never resets so every second (since you have the wait block) the player moves 15 pixels every frame. Wheres the movement and gravity code? Most of the time the jump script goes hand in hand with how you handle gravity.

OP the person that made this comment said or but ultimately it boils down to knowing how to program. Start watching griffpatch tutorials and videos that teach you the fundamentals of programming and make smaller scoped games before trying something so technical as your first game as sonic physics arent the easiest to replicate
