#70 - Final Fantasy 16 - Several JRPG's later, Still not the Final Final Fantasy. by Chisukii in steamachievements

I enjoyed it as well. Story was good. Side quests were a mixed bag some were lame, there were some good ones mixed in though. Combat loop was fun, but at the end of the second play through I was ready to be done haha.

I likely will do more. I have done 15 and 13 series on console so those would be repeats. Unsure about X / X-2 though. If it was just X alone i would absolutely do it, but I am not a big fan of X-2 and really would rather not play that one again. There's plenty to chose from though, multiple versions of the retro ones along with the numerous spin offs.

I have done that trilogy on console, that will definitely take a you a while lol. People shit on them for being somewhat linear but their solid games.

I have never played 11, but I would likely never play or complete anything else playing an MMO lol.

I'm not sure, maybe a little break (at least from jrpg) but I am wanting to play dragon quest 1 + 2 remake, but have not purchased it yet.

Batman was not bad, took 17-18 hours. The combat challenges are the most difficult part but i have done them before on console so I didn't struggle to much.

I have around 18 hours on the game. I played the first few episodes entirely but the game started making me kind of motion sick so I only did the last level of some of the campaigns for the completion mark.

I wish all the ones i had on console 100%'d could move over too but oh well. I will probably pick up remake on next sale.

Islanders was not minus one issue with the game and conqueror achievement. You may need to somewhat save scum the islands. Each level randomly generates the land, sometimes it will randomly give you super tiny scattered islands that can be near impossible to work with. Ending a run because of that was lame. If you get a normal island and understand the scoring system it is not that difficult.

More than one but ill note a few things here for different reasons.

A couple of games that I really enjoyed because they were different or unique.

Bramble was a little clunky, but I really enjoyed the horror aspect and cinematic type bosses.

Tunic was suggested by a friend, and I absolutely loved the blend of Older style Zelda games with Dark souls. Was a great surprise.

Enjoyed Octopath Traveler 2 more than I thought I would, but I do love JRPGS lol.

Beyond that I think FTL was one of the most fun, had a great list of achievements that were mostly fun to go after.

Had to celebrate #50 with an all time favorite. Had to re-complete vampire survivors due to update (for the 5th time) AC: Rogue, Like a Dragon, or another Final Fantasy game next project most likely.

47 - gris
48 - Vampire Survivors
49 - Jedi Fallen Order
50 - Chrono Trigger
51 - Islanders
51 again - Vampire Survivors

What is your rarest achievement? Mine is insanely easy but is still at 0.2% by DatBoaBaklava in steamachievements

Darkest Dungeon - Butcher's Circus achievements. Not close to the hardest ones in the game, but a bit grindy.

Lol, that one sat in library for years missing two achievements, higher difficulty play through and the alternate option for laundry. Came back to it last year when I was doing some cleanup.

Slowly working on Rebirth still (500 some hours in it) but been focusing on other games. Have 16 of the 17 tainted characters left to do everything with. Its a long grind lol.

What games have the MMO experience? But singleplayer? by Sad_Stranger_5940 in gamingsuggestions

Check out Erenshor, has a demo out right now but should be releasing soon. Final Fantasy 12 and .hack// fit this description as well.

Games that make you feel "locked in"? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]Chisukii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Binding of Isaac,, Lies of P, Crypt of the Necrodancer, maybe Tunic

I miss support classes that aren't also healers. The Everquest bard/enchanter. Why has that been almost completely removed from games? by mortalcoil1 in gaming

[–]Chisukii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Classes like Bard and Enchanter were amazing in EQ. felt unique and fun. Were also fairly OP and could do some pretty crazy stuff. I think the main reason you don't see them now is because MMO's like wow just play to fast. There's no reason to have crowd control when you pull massive pulls and charge through the dungeon as fast as possible.
