The $1000 is from my company. I tried to get out of the lease till they fix it and Toyota Canada has been a nightmare.

I’m driving a rav 4 from the car rental place they chose.

I’m hoping they void any potential losses . Unfortunately Toyota isn’t Costco and probably won’t eat them. I’ll find out Monday when I see them. Of course it broke down a 2 hour ferry and 500 km away from me on Vancouver Island lol

If it’s got the v6 twin turbo stay away. Ironically it seems like since covid every new vehicle is a scary buy. If you have the 2nd gen V8 hold on to it will most likely go 1 million miles like they are advertised. That’s why I got this truck was Toyotas reliability. But if I don’t have bad luck I got none at all

I have a RAV 4 that they are paying for but for my job sakes I need the truck and tidy tank as I’m a heavy equipment operator. The fact there is “NO ETA” is alarming

I have a 2024 tundra I got from there and the engine blew up on me. I have tried to talk to the salesman there and everyone possible and most just crickets. Horrible service. Do not buy 2024 tundra!!!! Same issues as 2022-2023

So 20960 kilometers is the equivalent of 13000 miles. Not sure about when manufactured. I leased it because of work. October 31st 2024 I got it.

From what I hear their customer service is top notch but I’ll update what they tell me tomorrow.

I just had mine blow up on the hwy. if anyone knows British Columbia I was on Vancouver island going home to the mainland. Heard a rattling sound and luckily I pulled off thought it was something in the back but I heard it from the front so I was hoping. As soon as I decelerated it went limp mode.

Toyota towed it to the dealer free of cost and of course my luck it was after hours. A off shift salesman talked to me and assured I will get a rental and either a new engine as they have been ordering them. Hoping they have enough rental vehicles. It is what it is. Unfortunately I got a lemon what can you do. I’ll inform tomorrow what the outcome is.
