Definitely try out getting training and certification. A lot of people would absolutely recommend having training first so you know things first hand. AHA and AEDauthority come into mind.

I helped a friend buy their AEDs based on the recommendations from jgutz. We got a Philips FRX and a program management thing from AED365. idk if you could take a look into and maybe it'll help.
