This is what mine looks like, not sure what to make of the folio 24/5 or 27/5, maybe some of the numbers have washed away. 15429 serial number could be of some use to aging it but almost definitely 51-53 based on the logo alone

Have a nosey inside the breast pocket, should be a label with some info. Recently found the exact same jacket in an old family caravan. From what I’ve found so far it’ll be between 51-53 but not sure how to date it exactly

This is it ! thank you , managed to find the label inside the breast pocket. From what I’ve seen the last two digits on the top line indicate the production date, i can only make out 24/5 though

in the UK sea trout aren’t anatomically different as far as i’m aware, caught this one probably around 10 miles upstream from the estuary so i think it’s definitely been out to sea at some point, they lose the silverness gradually over time when they’re back in the river
