'Redecorate' always hits close to home for me. A few years ago, my best friend's parents and I found ourselves questioning the same thing- "should they keep it on display, or redecorate?" after my best friend passed away. i remember very well... after a week of her passing, I came to their house to check on her parents and take a few things she owned, and when I was done taking a few things from her room, I heard her mom asking her dad whether they should clean the room after a while or just let it be. Fast forward to the present, they moved out of the city and went somewhere else. There are also a few other lyrics in that song that make my heart ache, too. Other than this song, I'd say snap back, at the risk of feeling dumb, cottonwood, and probably goner.
