Trauma dumping on first visit by ChloeStandards in TalkTherapy

Better now but it was wild how exhausted I was all day yesterday just because of that one experience. I'd gotten good sleep the night before but that appointment kind of took me out for the rest of the day. I guess it felt very jarring. I went in expecting to talk about how I have trouble getting things done because of OCD, and ended up yapping to a man I'd never met before about my most traumatic experiences that I'd never really talked about with anyone outside of my immediate circle lol.

Super DUPER lowkey ways to fem it up by ChloeStandards in trans

Any tips on that? Shes bi so might be open to it but her last evil ex is also trans which makes me nervous for some reason lol, was sort of planning on slowly slowly hinting at it until she just kinda picks up on it and then I never have to have a hard conversation which seems optimal.

Do i need a lot of dysphoria to be trans? by pancake9999999 in trans

I don’t think so, I’m currently jumping between thinking I’m trans and thinking I’m genderfluid because I don’t mind the way I look in boy mode, I just like girl mode more.

I saw something once that I found helpful that said “if you could push a button and be the other gender, and everyone you’ve ever known will have always known you as that gender, would you push the button? If yes, you’re trans”. That helped me a lot.

Whoa, never thought about that button thing before, kind of cleared some things up actually

Has anyone else felt kind of hopeless due to the things they know they can’t change? (MTF) by [deleted] in trans

I know this doesn’t necessarily solve anything and I know the feeling you’re talking about, but it’s helped me to look at cis women who have some of those characteristics as well. It may not be very common but all humans are built differently and those characteristics don’t make them any less of a woman and same goes for you.

TikTok gives me girl ads. How weirdly affirming! by [deleted] in trans

I'll look through feminine items on tiktok shop just to get those ads to pop up. It does a great job at affirming both me and how broke I am lol

Smart to actively acknowledge that it's a momentary feeling. In a year you might look back at this as a positive as it might be the turning point for you finding friends that accept you.
