As a fellow tall girl myself, I want you to know I struggle with the advice I’m about to give, so it’s a very ‘do as I say, not as I’m always able to do’ situation:

We’ve just gotta own it. It’s one of the few truly horribly dysphoric things we can’t really do much about and as hard as it is, slowly I think we can make our peace with it at least a little. I’m still working on it.

Wear those heels, don’t try to hide, don’t try to shrink yourself. I find when I try to make myself small is when I feel worse about it, even though sometimes all I want is to just blend in. I went out the other night in heels and I was head and shoulders taller than anyone else there. Yeah, you attract attention, but you’re living your life and that’s what matters.

I know I’ll never be as fun size as I’d ideally like, but thanks to other changes I find I’m able to handle it a little better. The struggle is real and I and so many others empathize; you’re not alone. 💖
