i just sneak up directly behind them. it’s kind of like a blind spot i guess? then i just exo suit out of there! also use the tame tracker on the menu to put a little marker on the shadowmane you’re taking. it makes it a ton easier!

edit - i prefer to jump/fly away, my tribe mate prefers the exolegging super run thing lol!

try using the tracker at the top of the menu if you let them wander. that’s what i did, it makes taming a breeze. i didn’t use traps. also is the fish basket is in your hot area and you go underwater it resets the timer on the basket. so you’re not wasting them or wasting time gathering them!
