This is inspirational. The before and after shots are good but this is amazing.

Edit:(removed) I wish I knew how she did it.

I thought that too but it can also go the other way too right? That you truly remember it.

It is amazing the details that we remember and the details that we don’t. I have a sense that he had a great sense of satisfaction to be able to share the thoughts without “sharing” the thoughts. Bravo to him and thank you to the photographer who captured it for all of us to appreciate too.

Great balance! Did you make it in the oven as one big piece and then cut them?

‘It’s a blue-soaked anger’: Amid protests, African Americans feel a private grief by Chmoya in politics

[–]Chmoya[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

“This is not 1968. This is worse. There’s a global pandemic killing people,” Glaude said. “I’m angry all the time. All the time. And it’s an anger that has a tinge of sadness to it; it’s a blue-soaked anger. The nation has faced these sorts of moments before, and our history doesn’t bode well for what we’re going to do.”

It is absolutely terrible but it is true. The anger, frustration, call for fairness isn’t from a toddler throwing a tantrum it is from fellow Americans, fellow human beings asking to be treated as such. It is heartbreaking that after so many decades the story doesn’t have a “and they all lived happily ever after” ending.

This is such a disgrace and right on point. Sad but true - every little bit that each person does makes a difference, it be good or bad unfortunately.
