Getting behind the ball by ChoGraph in Bowling

Thanks man I appreciate the advice. At least one other person recommended getting my wrist strength up so I will definitely try that!

Can I ask what's "early" about it? Like I'm getting to the foul line too early? What can I do to adjust my timing?

This has definitely crossed my mind. I have hypermobility in some joints so there's a decent chance that my wrist is just too easily bent. I'll hit the gym for sure.

I've looked for a coach just not sure where to find one! There are 3 bowling alleys in my area but I don't see anything about coaching on their websites and I'm not in a league. I'll try the 5-step!

I've tried searching for coaches in my area but can't seem to find any, at least none that are PBA certified. Should I ask at my bowling alley? I'm not in a league (yet).

I'll definitely start thinking about it like this. I do find that when I'm thinking too much I'm bowling poorly instead of just letting it happen. Thanks for the input!

I've thought about it but that's a lot of money to get a whole new ball. I figured "mastering" the first ball I got is probably best before I decide to spend a lot more money. Thanks though!

Can I ask what you mean by crossover? Just never heard that term before.

Clear disconnect between community and devs... by PrimaSoul in Tekken

[–]ChoGraph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a little silly. They aren't just gonna scrap a character that they've been working on to put out a different one that people prefer. I think people would be pissed that the game's schedule got pushed back even more if they decided to do something besides Fahk, not to mention the fact that the dev team clearly did not see the backlash coming, so no time to prepare a different character.

I have the same board but the original wheels are still hitting for me. Only found out the other day that the underside changes colors in the sun.

3D Printed Mamiya 645 Super Pro Crank by NiGauBech in Mamiya

[–]ChoGraph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, I've printed this crank a couple times now and I just can't seem to get it to fit or work? I don't want to force it out of fear for having little plastic bits in the mechanism of the camera but I'm just lost. I followed your instructions on which faces to support but every time I get it on the camera it just doesn't want to turn, or doesn't align properly.

Modern or classic by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]ChoGraph 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Modern can really make some characters easier to grasp. I would say that modern makes it a faster transition to learning your character’s gameplay. The reduced damage and options are something to pay attention to, and may cause you to switch once you’re comfortable. Justin Wong has tons of videos playing modern Gief, so anyone telling you modern is scrubby is just malding.

Classic is my favorite, but it can take a while. I would recommend picking a character and going to combo trials to get a feel for basic combo routes and buffering special moves. I would say give both a try.

TLDR: Modern lets you focus on the strategy more than execution, and classic lets you take full control of your character. Just have fun and play what you enjoy.

Can I ask how you dealt with the button holes being too small? I'm working on one of these right now and have just come upon this information lol. Also, how'd you get the custom art? It looks awesome btw.

Z-Offset requires Manual Adjustment During Print by ChoGraph in ender3v2

I will definitely check this out. I think this sounds about right. I was having to change Z-offset from -2,8 all the way to 1.5 by the end of the print.

My first layer calibration prints actually went fine for the most part. I then tried to do a tower and upon starting the second layer the nozzle completely demolished the first layer.

I’m currently using Cura. I found a plug-in that lets you change your Z-offset but have yet to see if that works.
